Oh I forgot to include the Bruschetta topping also contains sweet Vidalia onions.

Here is my small stash of Cracker Jacks - I just purchased 15 boxes for $5.00 ... you need 3 boxes just to fill a small cereal bowl ... the box size is not the same like in the good old days and the prizes ... are just boring stickers. :negative:

Well ... I’m all set now when I listen to Jan Markel’s prophecy conference for tomorrow!

Nah ... no boxes of chocolate but I do have a bowl full of York Peppermint Patties.

Lunch - Small Garden Salad with Olive Garden Italian Dressing.  Sirloin burger with Mozzarella melted cheese on top.  No roll because dessert will be 2 sumptuously delicious freshly made Apple Cider Donuts from a local garden center.  Got there before the tourists could form a line.  Yippee!

Drinking ice cold glass of Apple Cider

Love apple cider.  The entree looked good as well.  I bought link sausages, frozen waffles and fried some tater tots for both dinner and breakfast.  Did I mention the chocolate milk?

Looking forward to when the local stores start stocking up on egg nog!  Love milk, chocolate milk and egg nog!

Sounds like a yummy meal :good: .... minus the link sausages. :negative:  The rest of my family loves sausage but I just can’t eat them.  I prefer meatballs.  My mom deserves a medal when she made lasagna or stuff shells for the family.  She made sure one side of the lasagna dish was free of sausage and only had meatballs, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and that was reserved for me.     Then when she made stuffed shells ... she made 3 separate dishes ... one dish was shells with ricotta, shells stuffed with meatballs and the other shells stuffed with the sausage meat so everyone was happy.

Boy you’re not kidding about loving milk!   Do you drink the chocolate milk cold or hot?  I reckon the hot version will be more in line with hot cocoa.  That is one staple drink I have an awful lot during the cold winter months ... of course I enhance it with a few marshmallows, whip cream and if I have maraschino cherries ... 2 or 3 go on top.

I’m not familiar with the egg nog drink ... if we are still here in December I’m going to have to get a small carton and try it. B-)

Egg nog is a seasonal drink for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  I would try it if you have never had it!   Hot apple cider with cinnamon, wonderful.  Mostly I like cold chocolate milk.

Oh ok so its available from Thanksgiving time thru Christmas.  Can you heat up the egg nog drink in the microwave or should it be served cold?

Aha ... thanks for the great idea instead of hot tea ... I’m going to heat up a cup full of  Apple Cider right now in the microwave and sprinkle some cinnamon sugar!  Its been raining most of today and I’m cold.  I just made it ... its sooo good that way!!   :thankyou

I think it best cold.  With the cream in there, I don't know what heat will do to it!

After you have the hot cider and egg nog, you can thank me later when we get Home!

Also, some have been  known to put a touch of brandy in their egg nog!  Oops, my secret's out!

They also make a pumpkin flavored egg nog as well, that would be without the brandy!

LOL  I can picture you adding a shot of brandy to spice up the taste.

Eek .. pumpkin and me are like this :negative:   So if I do try the Egg-Nog it will have to be a non fancy-schmancy drink ... gotta keep it as simple as can be ... unless there is a chocolate flavor Egg-Nog?

Chocolate can always be added to anything!  I've only tried the brandy twice in my life.  They also make a vanilla spiced egg nog, not so good.  Nutmeg is also added during the holidays.

Ever have an egg cream?!  I love cream soda.  But I hear east coast egg cremes are to die for.

Nope never heard of egg cream, but I’ve seen Cream Soda at the stores. :negative:  I tried that flavor soda many years ago when I was a Brownie.  Unfortunately after a few sips ... I had a strong reaction ... horrific stomachache  and I felt like dying  so I quickly found the nearest bathroom to barf  :negative:   Sooo .... kind  of wondering now if egg-nog is not the best drink for me to try after-all? :calvin

P.S.  I’m allergic to penicillin and that contains eggs.  Yet I can eat fried eggs, hard boiled eggs and eggs in cakes, brownies, etc.
