I've been consumed with Eschatology since I was born again in 1992. I've been searching for end-time clues for over half my life now. That is not what is awesome. I've been leaning on dates and times and the excitement it has brought since then. That is not what is awesome. I've been consumed with the Signs of the Times and the Times of the Signs. That is not what is awesome. I've followed dreams and visions and have been led astray a myriad of times by individuals that I thought were reputable. However, all their predictions and "words from God" led to nothing! That is not what is awesome. I've known since I was saved that I would be Raptured in our times and be fortunate enough to not suffer death. That is not what is awesome. What is AWESOME ... is that over the last couple of days Ezekial 38, Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Daniel, Revelation, etc. have become totally relevant in today's world. There is no doubt that we are on the precipice of being taken out of this unforgiving and unforsaken existence. We are so close!! What is AWESOME is that this was all prophesied over 2000 years ago in God's Word, His Bible, His Promise through His prophets. There is no guesswork here, it is all right there in His Word! We don't have to rely upon guesses, dreams, visions, astronomical dates, analysis, conjecture, or feelings. We only need to read the words, and phrases, and paragraphs, and chapters of God's Word that He gave to us supernaturally through His Bible. I'm excited! We'll wait now expectantly for this glorious occasion to finally happen, and that Jesus will return very soon for His Bride! Nuff said. Just my own ponderations. Humbly A BIG :amen: brother! What I always lean are the passages speaking to "As in the days of Lot" and "As in the days of Noah" when the world is calm enough to marry, give in marriage, eat, drink, and be merry. Forgive my paraphrasing -- I'm pressed for time at the moment -- but how much worse can it get before we are sheltered in our homes and can't do anything anymore -- just like with Covid in 2020. The Stock Market looks precarious and world events look dangerous. For those Bible passages to be true, we have to be living in a time of calm. It doesn't seem like this "normal" can go on much longer until the world is unnormal. I wrote this immediately after the attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023. I was soooooo excited!!! I saw prophecy coming to life in our time! I'd been looking for something like this for over 30 years. This was IT, NO DOUBT! However, once again, after all the "Here IT IS!" dates, I was incorrect as have been all other individuals that have postulated forever. We're still here! We're still surviving day-by-day and can't wait until the end. But the END, when Jesus will finally rescue us and save us from further torture in this mortal existence, has been elusive. Thus, I am sorry if my enthusiasm led anyone astray. We are NOT there yet, and only God knows WHEN we will finally be there. All the signs, dreams, astrological occurrences, postulations, speculations, etc. are only that -- human-conceived hopes without any Heavenly confirmation. However, like Brad mentioned, I remember all of Chris's door knock confirmations ... the clock time confirmations ... the Fireman that absolutely and sincerely claimed that he received confirmations from God that we would be Raptured on Christmas ... CJ with his abominable plagiarisms and the old forum moderators telling us to be quiet because they absolutely loved and adored him ... all of the converging signs of the times, etc., etc., etc. ad nauseum. Yet, YET, we're still here. Although some may have absolutely been sincere in their own minds, they were absolutely, sincerely, and sinfully wrong in their outcomes. They perceived that God spoke specifically to them and yet it was their own flesh that sought attention. On another note, I have followed 5 Doves for decades, but it has become way too much slanted toward numerology and astrological conjecture for my own tastes. Every week there are postulations about how the numbers align for "this week". It is a sad state of affairs. It has been tough, TOUGH, to read all these postulations, prognostications, and declarations every week for decades. And for what purpose? We're still, STILL, here. When I saw what happened on October 7th, I was ABSOLUTELY POSSITIVE that prophecy had finally arrived in our own time and that Ezekial 38, Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Daniel, Revelation, etc. would soon commence. How wrong I was!! I sincerely believed, and I sincerely was wrong. We can't trust our mortal souls to provide us with truth. However, I agree that the signs of the times declare that the times of the signs are RIGHT NOW. So let us continue to look up and let God be God and stop trying to figure it out in our own earthly minds -- it only leads to despair. Hello brothers and sisters! What kind of Bride would we be if we weren’t excited about when the Groom is coming. I have no trouble with speculating on “high watch dates” that have Biblical information behind them. Just look at what we have learned about the Bible! And yes, we must sort through some of the stuff on 5 Doves and other places. We must use Spiritual discernment. But the Bible says that we should not be caught by surprise by the Rapture. We are to know the season. We are to know when He is even at the door! The “thief” only catches those not watching. So let’s watch away, learn along the way, and rejoice! We are getting there!
