Helene, thank you so much for taking the time to write all this. I am not sure this weather is for me. I like driving in nice weather especially in the fall with the leaves changing colors. a couple of years ago, I was in the subway and we got stuck in the tunnel for a few minutes. they were announcing an injury on track level and there was no indication how long before the train will move again. I am claustrophobic and that was hard on me. I went to a couple who were having a conversation and asked if I can please chat with them because I needed some distraction. They were very nice and started having a conversation with me. I told the guy I don't remember the train every stopping for that long in the tunnel. He said agreed. A couple of weeks later, the subway stopped again for a long time inside the tunnel. I could not take it anymore. I started having a lot of anxiety riding the subway and I went ahead and financed a car. If the weather is too bad for driving, I will have to take the bus to get to work. That would take long but it's Ok since that would be a couple of months a year. Here the weather is bad from end of December until mid March. the rest of the time, if snow falls, it's not that bad and they clear the roads fast. When I saw the beautiful apartments in Montreal and thought of my friend coming back, I dreamt of being next to him and his sister but I seriously doubt it now. thank you. I needed that info. I still think Montreal is a nicer place to live and much more affordable! However, what I noticed over the years is that there are wonderful people anywhere you go! I pray you follow God's lead for your life. You might be leaving this planet sooner than you think! You might be leaving this planet sooner than you think! I certainly hope so! Amen! Blessings Helene! I was born in Montreal! TR I keep hearing that Montreal is a nicer place to live. Hear that all the time. thank you so much Helene.
