And what did you feel about their Metro Heidi? It "wowed" me! So bright, so clean and even entertaining! With people all around!

yes, the metro is amazing but I am claustrophobic and not sure will be taking it, especially after the 2 times we got stuck in the tunnel for so long. However, that was Toronto and it's bad here

Montreal is a  cultured city that has great food. Especially the Jewish delis.

Toronto used to be called Hogtown. Lol.

If I had to live in one or the other it's Montreal hands down.

I guess I will go to the Metro in Montreal and see how beautiful and bright it is. (not sure will take the train)

I have been thinking that I messed up by coming to Toronto. should have been in Montreal all those years. this morning I thought: no, that's not true. God is guiding us. I was here for so many reasons. I met amazing  people including a friend who is like family and I trust him like a brother.

I just went outside to throw out recycling and my super was downstairs putting up carpets and clearing the ice. (first time it snows) he told me we should  go out in my car sometime and he  will show me how to handle the car in icy conditions. He has been driving for over 40 years and drove all sorts of vehicles including trucks.

I have been thinking that I don't want to take the subway again  and worried about very bad driving conditions and ending in the subway again during the winter.

Hopefully, not so. My super said lets go out in icy conditions and have fun!

I am a bit angry now. I got a letter from work and I know what it is about without reading it.

I have at least 15 sick days that I haven't used.  should I use them and stay home looking for other work?

I have to go  to the  office tomorrow  but I need time for myself to figure out what to do.

My manager is a good to me and she  is on vacation but she said she  is checking her messages.

I left a message for another colleague asking for some feedback.

Will they pay you for those unused sick days?  If so, I would ask for the money.  If not, then take them.

:prayer-hands:  The employment doors open up for you elsewhere.  Or better yet .. that the rapture happens!

Good question. I don't  know if they will pay me for the unused sick days.

I will check.

I texted a colleague asking her what to do with the sick days. She called, we spoke  for  almost  an hour.  She said use the sick  days  before the end of the month.

She used to be with the union, I will ask her if she knows if I will get paid for them if I don't use them. Probably not, she would have told me.

she knew the employee who passed away suddenly. she told me she was fully vaccinated,  left the office at 5 pm, everything seemed to be ok, they found her in her apartment. She had a heart attack.

she cried a lot because she knew her and liked her.

thank you for your prayers Geri.

What do you mean weeping and gnashing of teeth TR? Not sure who you are talking about.

My colleague was so upset about the other colleague's death that she was crying a lot. she  is teaching online now  and ended up not being able to control herself and cried in front of her students.
