The hummingbirds that overwinter around my place come when I call them after putting their feeder out. They live in the hedges bordering my house and neighbours. So they arise out of the hedge with a clamour and start chittering at me when they hear my voice. Even when I open and shut the back door, I get a reaction. They usually arrive at the same time and start fighting, though. :wacko: Anyway, takes a birdbrain to understand a bird's brain, I guess. 😉 The Holy Spirit did appear as a dove, not a pup! Ahhhh...the pelican.
