Aswan Dam Aerial

Evidently, Geri, Syene back then was today's Aswan.  Here's a tower of sorts, the Aswan Dam, rising 364 feet.  Recalling there's a worldwide earthquake at the end.  A lot of dams (all?!) including this one will probably tumble.  There's 31.7 cubic MILES of water in Lake Nasser being held back.  Oy Vey!

Nuclear might not be necessary, or puny by comparison, nor should it be advisable for any of the powers that be to intentionally destroy that dam.  No?  But I guess the devil is unpredictable sometimes in his audacity.

So, have some tree leaf salad for healing?  Maybe you could dry them out and make croutons.  Are palm fronds actually considered leaves, or do they consist of leaves?  Those trees along the River of Life have always inTREEg'd me...

Even though I am in the camp of those who place G/M around the start of the 70th week, and I can agree that Israel could be thought of as dwelling securely in the land due to the "covenant with the many," I still can't see that security lasting past the time of the Abomination of Desolation, in the middle of the seven years. I can't see "peace and safety" going on while the wrath of God is being poured out upon the whole earth.

It may not work out as I envision, but I can't see Armageddon as the same thing as Gog/Magog. The nations participating in Ezekiel 38 are enumerated. In Revelation, we're told all the nations would be gathered against Jerusalem. Moreover, according to Zechariah, the armies penetrate into Jerusalem. In Ezekiel, the invaders are destroyed upon the "mountains of Israel."

No need to wait for any walls to come down before Gog’s army attacks because this passage indicates the Lord will be taking the walls down Himself in His wrath.

Ezekiel 38:18-21

This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign Lord. 19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20 The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother.

My emotions and thoughts on timing are like a roller coaster.  We realize we are in very prophetic times and every day some new event occurs that has prophetic meaning.  It makes me feel we are very, very close, but nothing happens.  The word “soon”, we have all learned, is very subjective which surely is teaching me patience.

Another possible sign is being discussed by Tom Horn.  He has written two new books about the coming asteroid Apophis which is due to make its appearance in April of 2029.  He believes that asteroid is the “Wormwood” of Revelation which arrives on earth in the middle of the tribulation.  NASA says it will not hit earth.  Tom Horn feels otherwise.

At any rate; we wait, we watch and pray and pray and pray and pray.:prayer-hands:
