It's a fair question. Things won't necessarily be wonderful and perfect right after the end of the Tribulation. So, it is possible that they may burn weapons at the very start of the Millenium. I suppose that's an assumption that has been made. If the Gog/Magog War and the Battle of Armaggedon are the same war, then the burning might continue for a few years, say six or more, into the Millennium. Just sayin.' :unsure: By the way, Arthur, Joel Richardson acknowledges and addresses many of the authors' arguments cited in your link just above. Again, not arguing for one or the other, just a codger continuing his cogitatin' here. :yes: I would put G/M at the start of the 7 years for a variety of reasons, one of which is that Israel is said to be dwelling securely when it occurs. That doesn't seem very likely at the end of devastating plagues upon the entire planet, especially when the remnant of Israel has been hiding in the wilderness for three and a half years. Okay, David, this is my conjecture, outside that box... The "covenant with many" confirmed by the amazing AC (maybe even related to the Abrahamic Accords) could possibly give Israel that sense of security for a while. No war but peace with their neighbors, everyone in Israel agreeing the covenant provides peace from early on, and maybe even for a few years. After all, they'll have the signs-and-wonders messiah on their side. "I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates..." Maybe the covenant could be that attractive to Israel, somehow. Why not? PS - And evidently, Bill Gates, at least according to the last few words above, won't be there either. And bars will be closed too, I guess. :mdrmdr: 😉 :unsure: Hmmm ... good point about perhaps the 7 year burning of the weapons for fuel could overlap into the start of the millennium ... because there is also the 40 year clean up of the nuclear disaster of the Nile River between Egypt and Ethiopia. :scratch: The millennium folks are REALLY going to need lots of tea or will be eating tons of salad leaves from the Tree of Life.
