No more disappointments and separation from God! No more broken relationships! TR I see dead animals on the road on a frequent basis. It is so sad. 🙁 It will be so nice when that is not a thing, anymore. Plus watching animals struggle to survive is difficult to watch. Where I live it is currently -9 C (16 F) The resident hummingbird is up and flying around, as cranky as ever, cursing at me. Tough old bird. 😉 All of creation groans and yearns to be restored. Can't wait for that day. Romans 8:18-25 New King James Version From Suffering to Glory True that! TR The hummingbirds are having their usual turf war today. I find it sad to watch them fight over a feeder when there is a much bigger threat out there. (The cold) It'll get down to -15 C (5F) tonight. They are wasting valuable energy fighting each other. All the hummingbirds get mad at me too when I go out to check the feeder and bring it inside every few hours to let it thaw a bit. They don't seem to realize I am trying to help them. I suppose it is kind of like us humans. Wasting energy fighting each other when we have a bigger enemy. Getting angry at the One who is helping us. Well said, beloved brother! TR
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
