When I calculate their iniquity, I only counted the period that they had Kings over them, and acted as a sovereign nation. After the utter destruction of Judah in 586 BC, they had lost the sovereignty and had no more their own Kings over them. Even though they returned to their land from the exile, they were subjected to Gentiles rule and authority. And in 70 AD, they were scattered all over the world. The first time they had kings again was in May 1948, when they gathered back as a sovereign nation. But since they still chose to reject Jesus as their Messiah, the iniquity clock began to move again.
