Her reply: ” but you want to stay here, too, don’t you?” I'd have to answer: "Everything I live for is either already there or on the way there. My only interest in staying here is to persuade others to join me on the journey to be with Jesus." I trust that the Lord will deal with me as He chooses. If He comes for me today, so be it! If He makes me wait, so be it. As the Apostle Paul said, Phil 1:21 "To live is Christ, to die is gain". We are to be content in all things He gives us, including life, and to make the most of the time He gives us. May we all continue to grow in Him, as our love for one another also grows. Even though we are the work of His hands and heart, He alone is sovereign God! At this point in time, it seems to me that all we can do is watch not only for His return, but to watch our sovereign God accomplish and fulfill His works! TR Our trust is in You Oh Lord! Our very breath we enjoy and the life You so graciously supplied we place into Your capable hands. Our eternal future is also subject to Your sovereign will! Our hopes and dreams as well as the surety of Your promises we place upon Your altar of incense. We are ready Lord to consummate the fullness of all of these and Your bridal promise towards each of us! Let everything above the Earth, in the Earth and below, hear that we are ready and waiting! As no Bride is kept in waiting forever. We bless and praise Your holy name for all that we know, seen and been given. But how much more pregnant will our praises be when the veil of our understanding has been torn asunder. Only then to see in the fullest measure all that You are and all that You have done for us! Bless Your holy name! We are ready Lord to hear again from You, it is finished! And the Spirit and the Bride will also say, it is finished! TR
