Turkey behaving badly again. Since Turkey's economy is in the toilet, invading other countries and labeling any opposition as terrorists is being used to distract the populace.

Soon and very soon, Turkey's gaze will turn to Israel.

Turkey is at it again, meddling in Israel’s affairs.

Needless to say, Turkey is not Israel’s friend.

Turkey is furious with the USA because they finally have recognized the Armenian genocide.

A snippet from an article in the Jerusalem Post:

The US decision to finally recognize the Armenian genocide comes after decades in which Turkey and its lobbyists in Washington threatened the US. Their narrative was that if Washington would just use the term “genocide” – for a crime committed 106 years ago by a former government in what is now Turkey – then Ankara would rapidly move to sanction the US, close its bases, threaten its citizens and ally with Iran, China and Russia, or other US enemies.
This bizarre, mafia-like threat is the same one that Tehran used regarding the Iran deal. It is because non-Western countries learned that the way to deal with Western countries was to prey on their fears. For instance, today Pakistan is threatening to expel France’s ambassador because far-right religious extremists in Pakistan claim to be offended by cartoons published years ago in a French magazine.

This will likely push Turkey into the waiting arms of Russia and Iran. Right on schedule for Ezekiel 38.

Speaking about the hook ...

Sinkholes fill Turkey's breadbasket in drought
Nz.news.yahoo.com
Raziye Akkoc Thursday, 22 April 2021

Sinkholes wide enough to swallow a bus dot the drought-stricken breadbasket of the Turkish plains, worrying farmers as they spread and creep closer to residential homes.

"The drought situation is getting worse," said farmer Tahsin Gundogdu, whose harvest includes potatoes he sells to the US food giant PepsiCo.

The 57-year-old has seen the huge holes yawn open in the past 10 to 15 years as the overuse of groundwater for irrigation takes its toll.

Dizzyingly deep, they appear when underground caverns created by drought can no longer contain the weight of the layer of soil above.

This puts farmers in a bind.

Attempts to get water by other means are more expensive, cutting farmers' incomes. But continued reliance on groundwater will likely make the problem only worse.

Professor Fetullah Arik has counted around 600 sinkholes in the Konya plain, where he heads the Sinkhole Research Centre at the Konya Technical University -- nearly double the 350 counted last year.

Turkey's economy is in the toilet as it is. A drought and subsequent loss of agricultural production could be devastating and lead to widespread unrest. It is hard enough for Turkish farmers as it is with many Arab countries boycotting Turkish goods.

All setting the stage for the Turkey to turn her Sauron like gaze southward. Not only out of greed but also to quell domestic unrest. It's breathtaking to see how it's all coming together.

Speaking at an event in Istanbul, Erdogan called on all Muslim countries and the international community to take "effective" steps against Israel, adding that those who remain silent were "a party to the cruelty there."

"The cruel Israel, terror state Israel is mercilessly and unethically attacking Muslims in Jerusalem," Erdogan said.

He added that Turkey had "immediately launched the necessary initiatives to get the United Nations, Organisation for Islamic Cooperation and all relevant institutions to take action."
