Lol Geri. Few things more irritating than miserable Condo board members looking for ways to be a pain in the condo while sharing their misery with the owners. We will have no such issues with the property manager when we arrive at Abba's house. Maranatha!!! Maybe they have rules about having a quorum first, Geri, and so all their draconian meetings will be impossible to hold. Interesting timing -- enforcing covenants when it's unlikely all the residents will still be working. On the other hand, maybe the Chairperson just happens to have an authorized concrete sealing business, and would be glad to accept a lien on your house in lieu of immediate payment, and might perhaps even throw in a discount price for complete driveway replacements. Yep, the one family board member that keeps sending out these crazy email demands is VERY unhappy because the 2020 budget didn’t pass so they figured if they can make over the top demands and owners fail to get them done in a certain time frame they can then start collecting violation fees. This same owner put their unit on the market in early March and then quickly removed it because of the virus outbreak. And ironically this owner doesn’t have a cement patio but a fairly new wooden deck so he doesn’t need to do a single thing because before he moved in a year and a half ago ... the condo association paid for his new deck. Then after that was done, they voted everyone hast to take care of their own deck or cement patio - meaning to make sure you shovel the snow off. Last year they had the nerve to send a warning email about speeding ... if they catch you speeding they will fine you ... and both husband and wife are the only ones who are doing the speeding ... especially the wife since she drives a Porsche. I felt like responding back with and are we suppose to put sealant on the cement sidewalks as well?! But I didn’t want to give them any more ideas. Good point, Dan, most of the stores have their non necessity items blocked off from purchasing and the last time I was at Home Depot ... 3 weeks ago(?) the worker mixing the paint said they are told not to order any more paint so get what you want now before it all runs out. So I seriously doubt they are well stocked with “cement” sealant. And its not like we can call up a handy man to do the job ... everyone is in hibernation and scared to death to talk to another human. B-) :amen: Watchman ... oh what joy it will be living in Abba’s house! :yes: Our citizenship is in heaven. Can't wait to go home. Longing for this vaca to be over! You always love a good vaca (not sure this one was totally good), but then you always look forward to getting home.
