Indeed, an overwhelming amount of clues and signs indicate that we are surely in the last generation. Apart from that I don't think it possible for man to correctly calculate the "day and hour". Many of the clues given in the Word are too open ended and general. They are indeed subjective at best. Even not being able to know the day or hour of our physical redemption I dare say I wouldn't want to quibble over the difference! Indeed there are many signs, clues and historical references to consider, but only God can make the determinations as to when man's cup of iniquity is full enough to warrant His blowing of the trumpet, IMHO! Again with God's M.O. of often keeping his followers informed and given the fact that Jesus himself predicted his own resurrection three days after His death.
