Just do what you need to do Tammie. You know we're here, and we know you're there, so no pressure. Just rest as you can and may the Lord uphold you and restore you from exhaustion. Love and miss you along with all of us. Blessings and prayers. :rose:

Thanks Family, appreciate the thoughts and prayers; Throwing this out there but has anyone else noticed the coldness out in the every day folks?

Here is an example that happened to me on my flight back from Cincinnati this past Thursday. A middle aged women passed out while we were waiting for our plane. One of my colleagues saw her and ran to her, I was exiting the nearby bathroom and saw the lady on the floor and my colleague with her. I rushed over and we began working on the lady while the clerk at the counter called for EMS. The lady lost a pulse and we started CPR, she came back and we kept her stable until EMS arrived and we could hand her off — what I noticed was the place was packed, full flight, and the folks waiting were totally ignoring the situation, oblivious, it was unbelievable —- they were on iPhones and such but no one, I mean no one even came to watch —- the verse Matt. 24:12 “And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. came to mind and my daughter repeated that verse when I recounted the event to her.

Plus the shortage of skilled craftsmen and the total “what ever” attitude of workers. This has been a difficult 7 months and I would not recommend it to anyone. We did get many opportunities to talk about Jesus to many of the workmen (who could speak or understand English), met an awesome man from Ukraine who came to help his son, our tile guy (awesome tile guy, my bathrooms, kitchen, and sunroom look amazing). We gave him a Bible in both English and Russian as he was headed back to Ukraine.

But seriously, have you noticed that the hearts of people in general seems to have grown cold …..

We are so close!!!! Let it be today — Rev. 22:20 “ He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

Wow....in every sense of the word. It is wonderful for that woman that you and your colleague were there and jumped in to helping that woman, the Lord certainly worked using your skill and love for others.....and wow on the other people, I have seen some coldness mostly in the form of impatience and rudeness of people in general but the experience that you relayed is coldness ratcheted up a notch or a thousand.......time for the church to go home for sure.
