Here's something I've heard recently about whether the Democrats have a case for impeachment against Pres. Trump.  From Wikipedia: "The Constitution gives Congress the authority to impeach and remove "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States" upon a determination that such officers have engaged in treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

The current charges of "abuse of power" and "obstruction of Congress" are not Constitutional reasons to impeach a president.

Also I just saw an article that was written last September:

"DOJ Clears Trump Less Than 24 Hours After Pelosi's Impeachment Announcement"

So a day after Pelosi said:

“The actions of the Trump presidency revealed the dishonorable fact of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security, and betrayal of the integrity of our elections,” Pelosi told reporters on Tuesday from the Capitol Building, according to ABC News. Pelosi cited the Ukraine controversy in her brief statement about impeachment.

The Department of Justice said:

The Department of Justice’s Criminal Division “reviewed the official record of the call and determined, based on the facts and applicable law, that there was no campaign finance violation and that no further action was warranted,” DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec told HuffPost for an article published Wednesday.  She said all “relevant components of the Department agreed with this legal conclusion, and the Department has concluded the matter.”

Quoting a Democrat to illustrate hypocrisy is now defined as "hate speech."

I hear you.  It's just a dead end these days to point out what they're saying makes zero sense.  Truth is dead to them.

I know that sounds pessimistic, but I can pretty much tell you the response you'd get to that statement:  "Yes, we'd like to have support from the other side, and we'd have it if Trump wasn't such a maniacal despot who has corrupted the process so thoroughly that there's not a single Republican left who will stand up to him.  We can't leave this up to the Republican controlled Senate to decide this, nor can we take the chance of Trump being allowed to run in the next election.  We have to save the country from this man!"

The merry go round broke down.  That's all, folks.

Meanwhile, while Pelosi cannot bring herself to actually deliver the House-approved articles of impeachment to the Senate, there are now some reports popping up in various media that say the House of Representatives is at least considering the possibility of a second round of impeachment.  You cannot make this stuff up.

It is so sobering to watch representatives, elected officials who are charged with serving the people and running our country, who are pathological liars with reprobate minds that are literally incapable of discerning truth from lies...good from evil.  You cannot appeal to logic or rationality, as they are disconnected from reality.  And they don't know it!

It's like having to try to convince someone that ripping a baby's limbs from their body while murdering them in their mother's womb is evil and an abomination before our God.  They are blinded by a strong delusion.  Jesus remains the only hope, both theirs and ours.  Hard not to cry out from the depths of my soul,  Maranatha!!!

Delusion is prominent.  Whether the delusion is self initiated or demonic inspired, it accomplishes the same end.

It seems to me that the bedrock of delusion is based on the notion that God is not supreme.  For when man takes on the authority of God in matters small and large, the errors of man are multiplied!

I can hear Pelosi's prayer now:  "[g-d], please strike him dead with lightning or something dramatic in order to silence those evangelical deplorables, and so that we can accelerate and celebrate the anarchy we so desperately want and need!  Okay?"

So I see the senate voted Trump “not guilty”. :yahoo:   Do you think the demoncrates  will quietly raise the white flag in defeat ... or do you think they have something else up their sleeve?
