Summer time has officially arrived...

At the risk of stating the obvious, that means Spring is over.  Deep sigh.

Lots of brides get married in the summer, June and July are very seasonal for weddings — take heart! The fig tree is about to bloom — :prayer-hands:

Yep, don’t give up watching ... stay alert ...  behind the scenes things are still happening.   Meanwhile ... relax and have some angel’s food (corn from heaven) 😉    popcorn   :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn

I was encouraged by this facebook post ...

“After August 21, 2017 solar eclipse ... next day onward Jared Kushner and his team visited Israel to promote and achieve the peace plan.

After yesterday’s June 21, 2020 solar eclipse ... Trump, Jared Kushner and his team will take decision on whether to back Israel applying sovereignty on Biblical lands Judaea and Samaria on  July 1st ...“

I read somewhere that the Bible didn't used to use all four seasons.  It just used winter and summer. Can anyone here confirm this?  Also, we are still in the wheat harvest season!

Summer and Winter are the only seasons specifically named I believe.  That does'nt mean the other seasons were done away with!

Song of Solomon speaks of what is interpreted as Spring.  Spring in the language of description, though not specifically called so!

Blue, you may be referencing:

Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

SOS 2:11-13 “For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.”

Matthew 24:32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.”

But remember- you have to understand scripture as to what would they have thought and understood —- they were predominantly agriculture. I use the ESV a lot and there is some verses that identify Spring and Autumn rains:

Jeremiah 5:24 “They do not say in their hearts, ‘Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives the rain in its season, the autumn rain and the spring rain, and keeps for us the weeks appointed for the harvest.”

Zechariah 10:1 “Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.”

Hosea 6:3 “Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”
God speaks a lot about seasons of life, seasons of time, seasons according to the heavens, and seasons according to His feasts.

Hope that is helpful :prayer-hands:

Thanks!  One thing I was thinking is of the verse that says to pray that your flight not be in winter.  I usually hear people say that that means their flight at mid-trib will be in winter.  So that means to me that the rapture would be before Sept 21
