I was just thinking this morning, in the midst of the Corona lies, chaos, uncertainty and contradictory media reports, how grateful I am to have our blessed hope of meeting the Lord in the air (or being raised first if we should happen to physically die before that trumpet sounds) BEFORE the wrath of Daniel's 70th week is poured out on a God-hating, Christ-rejecting world.

I cannot imagine having to face today's reality without the peace and hope found in Christ alone.  Biblical hope is very different than the world's definition of hope.  For the world, hope is essentially wishful thinking, with no guarantee of desired results.  I hope it does not rain today or I hope the Cleveland Browns win the Superbowl (the most extreme sports analogy that came to mind...)  Biblical hope, however, is guaranteed hope, backed by the promises found in the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Soon, the full faith and credit of the United States will leave the dollar valueless.  When that happens, the value of the Blood of the Lamb will remain undiminished and will continue to fully guarantee our completed redemption at the Harpazo!  Hallelujah!!  Maranatha!!!  If you have not done so yet today, I encourage you to stop and genuinely express your gratefulness to the Lord for our blessed hope in the midst of the madness.

Thank you Jesus Christ,  the Son of God,  who has given us this Blessed Hope.  As I see the world descending into chaos,  I have increasing pangs of homesickness.

Can't wait to go home.  Let it be this Passover.  I want to Pass over to eternal bliss.  :yahoo:

Well said!  Indeed Passover or Easter!  Again, my choice would be it occur on Easter!  For this then would speak honor the Church of Christ and be a witness to the rest of the world!

It would be interesting to have the Body resurrected on the same day of the year, Resurrection Sunday, as the Head was resurrected almost 2,000 years ago.

Our Blessed hope is to be with our creator God, eternally.  The Rapture is just a mechanism the Lord will use for our resurrection.   A glorious one none the less!

Such a cool mechanism, wouldn’t you say, flying upward, in a twinkle. The best whoosh ever, perfect body and bridle apparel all at once. Seeing the bridegroom and our family in an instant. Seeing the glory of the throne of grace with the green emerald rainbow in all its magnificent total awesomeness. I Corinthians 2:9 “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”

A mechanism that has already tried and tested.  Enoch, Elijah, Jesus!

But for this mechanism to be applied on the level of billions of people both dead and alive is miraculous!
