If I get too uppity, Dan will take me off my high horse. 😉

Thanks, Yohanan, for that.  Kolleen's surely a bit too young to remember that 50's radio drama.

Arthur, I don't have enough stamina to battle that much uppity. :mdrmdr:

Do you remember actually listening to those episodes on the radio, Derrick?  Radio was so much more dramatic than television.  An engaged and more active mind!

Not quite that old, I didn’t listen to them on radio, but I sure do remember the re-runs and cultural references of that time.  Such a different world we live in.  I am a child of the 70s but remember so well the golden age of TV which came from the radio, shows like the Lone Ranger, around on the radio long before TV.  I miss that kind of programming.  My wife and I recently discovered Roku in the past couple of years and with all of the many things we can watch on this platform - we usually wind up watching I love Lucy reruns lol!

Great comments Dan and I feel the same.   There's a shift in the wind for me and I've gone from waking up every morning hoping that "today is the day" to one of "who can I influence for Christ today?"  I know that my anxiousness for going home isn't going to hasten the Lords return, however I can harness and expend that energy on more positive outcomes, specifically who's going to be on the bus when it pulls out of the station.   I too still lurk, although not as much as in the past.    For me I find a greater peace in my shift in focus.  But, I still have my eye one all you young whipper snappers.    Jesus is coming, He's coming soon, finish the work we were placed on this Earth to do, time is running out.

My shift of focus is to pray constantly that God be glorified in all things!
