In less than 2 months, we will be at the ever important watch date of Rosh Hashanah, which falls on September 30 this year.  Christians can see many reasons to anticipate the rapture at this time in the many Jewish names and themes for this feast day.

https://raptureandendtimes.com/2019/07/06/rapture-2019-the-feast-of-trumpets/

"Jewish names and themes for this feast include:

Rosh HaShanah – ‘Head of the year’ / Tishrei 1 is the first day of the Jewish new year in their civil calendar. It is the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve.

Yom Teruah – ‘Day of Awakening Blast’ / Jewish belief is that the resurrection of the dead will occur on the feast of Trumpets.

The Last Trump – On this day, there are 100 trumpet blasts. The final, long, and most significant trumpet blast is called ‘the last trump’.

Yom Zikaron – ‘Day of Remembrance’ / A day on which the chosen people remember God, and God remembers them.

Yom Hadin – ‘Day of Judgment’ / God opens the books on that day and judges the righteous and the wicked according to what they had done.

Yom Hamelech – the Day of the Coronation of the King.

The time of Jacob’s trouble – There shall be great tribulation in Israel such as never was since there was a nation.

Yom Hakeseh – The Hidden Day / It was ‘hidden’ because they didn’t know the exact day it would begin due to the fact that it is the only feast that starts on a new moon. Thus it was a two day feast because they didn’t want to celebrate it on the wrong day. Concerning Rosh HaShanah, the Jews would typically say “Of that day and hour no one knows.”

The Opening of the Gates of Heaven / The Gate of Heaven is opened on Rosh HaShanah so the righteous nation may enter.

The Wedding of Messiah / The blowing of the heavenly trumpet is a call for the entire, true, bride of God to assemble together."

"Hebrews 4:8-9 New American Standard Bible

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. 9 So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God."

That Sabbath rest is intended to start at the rapture.  There is an OT verse that indicates Rosh Hashanah is the Sabbath rest:

"Leviticus 23:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation."

Just another reason to anticipate the rapture could be at Rosh Hashanah.

I've always thought that Pentecost made more sense since that was when the clock stopped after the 69th year.

However, I've always felt that Rosh Hashanah was the true time of the Rapture due to the Jewish feast traditions that Earthangel has so diligently laid out.

May it be so Lord, may it be so -- if not sooner!  We are not opposed to sooner!

Every day works for me!  We'll see where the headlines are just before.

I agree TR - any day will do :good: . My heart has always leaned towards Pentecost but I'm still hopeful on any high watch day. Lately I have been wondering more if it will not be on a feast day at all and just an ordinary day as it was with Jesus ascension. I do enjoy reading all the studies on time lines that point to a certain feast day though. It helps stir my hopes for a soon departure. Even when those dates pass, it helps to take the waiting in bits between high watch times rather than a long wait with no speculation  .

Seems to me there's a difference between hope and anticipation!  I can anticipate something and it's usually on my time table.  But Godly hope is forever!  Seems to me that hope started 5 minutes after we left the Garden!

Whatever day the Lord has destined for the Rapture is O.K. with me.  Our hope is grounded upon the promises of Christ!  The fact that he even showed up two thousand years ago cemented our hope of salvation.
