📢 Forum Update - Hello everyone! I've made an improvement to the forum that should make following active discussions much easier. Beginning today, forum topics will display the most recent replies first (while keeping the original topic post at the top), so you no longer have to navigate through multiple pages to find the latest conversation. This change also helps improve the browsing experience in long-running discussions with many pages of replies. Just one correction--the Jewish days do not begin at dawn. They begin at sundown the evening before. So her hours are all mixed up. I understand that she is saying the approximate 12 hours of daylight, but still the 3rd hour, the 6th hour count begins at nightfall unless they have some other secondary way of counting daylight hours, maybe like our AM and PM?
...The Jewish day starts at nightfall, and continues throughout the night and following day, until the next night. This is based on the first verses in the story of creation (in the book of Genesis), where it says "it was night, and it was day – day one [of creation]." https://www.yeshiva.co/ask/7469
@patrician It sounded like maybe she was talking about daylight hours, not evening and morning calendar hours. Either way, we'll be pleased to go, whatever time the clock says.
@patrician I found this article that lists the hours of the day for the Jews and the Romans in the first century. According to this article the 3rd hour is 9:00 AM.
@rickjones427 of course! I’m with you and Kent!! 🙏🤩 watching, waiting, standing in His love and strength until He comes or calls me home. But the 1st day of Av?? 🙌🥳 that would be a wonderful time to see our Savior!
This is a beautiful video by Carol Vey about the feast of new wine that happens a week from Sunday! Food for thought 🍿about a “possible” high watch rapture time??? 26 minutes long! And I’m still praying Geri is ok!!
Not sure what to type. Just anxious to get Raptured out of here. I never dreamed the Church would see all of this craziness. This is what happens when the Lord God is rejected. Who would have ever thought it would come to this?! Romans 1:18-32 warned of this, though.
Keep looking up, family. In the meantime let’s be prayerfully encouraging each other. Can’t be long. Let’s try and take as many with us as we can.
I do appreciate all of the things that are posted for us to read. Hope to see you soon.
@erby Yep, that was pretty disappointing when Feast of Weeks came and went. Fortunately for me, within a couple of days of then I received a tear jerker thank you letter from the Chaplain of the hospice group I crochet for. That made me ready to grab my yarn and keep on keeping on. Hang in there and try to focus on your appointed task in the meantime. Let's be caught doing what we're supposed to be doing when He gets here.
@perhapstoday One week from this Sunday will be the 50th day from Feast of Weeks. It's the Feast of New Wine. It's also the first day of Av, perhaps this will be the big day.
@rickjones427 There are a number of solid reasons why it could be Rapture Day. Dr Barry considers it to be a very “high watch day.” Many in the Church are getting very overwhelmed by world events. I keep saying to myself, “Just when you think you’ve seen/heard it all!”
We all know what it's like to be hurt, but God knows too. But there is NOTHING better than Jesus when we hurt, He understands what this world and satan can do to us. God, we need you as never before, we see change happening and how it's going to end up for many who reject Jesus. My family doesn't understand still, I need your prayers, I'm so grateful for what God has done for me, but still I need help with the hurt that's happening! I love you all, I know it's not much time before Jesus returns, we just keep going and trust, all things will work according to God's will and save many now thru Jesus name.
