Well Tammie, you can let him know when you find a right church - if you do - and maybe he will follow you to it!! Smile 😉

I'm not sure most pastors even know God's strong words re: them...

For the shepherds have become stupid and have not sought the Lord; Therefore they have not prospered, and all their flock is scattered. Jer 10:21

They were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every beast of the field and were scattered. Ezek 34:5

Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard, They have trampled down My field; They have made My pleasant field A desolate wilderness. Jer 12:10

Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture declares the Lord. Jer 23:1

When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things. Mk 6:34

Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: Ezek 34:7

Amen Kolleen and Amen Yohanan —

I do now doubt that I will find a body of believers prior to our Harpazo and that is ok — I watch Jack Hibbs and a few others online and I have RITAN as well as a few believing friends at work and neighbors….

My daughter is in a praise team at her church and they preach the rapture local) but I am wanting a smaller church with “normal” music — I don’t like feeling that I just went to a music conference — I’m probably too picky but Heaven is around the corner and we are going home — so it is what it is…. :calvin

This link contains Jewish idioms that make Rosh Hashana sound like the time of the rapture:

Thanks.  I printed the list to mail to a friend who doesn't have a computer.

Agree Tammie -- we've gone 3 years without a home church.   I don't want to be entertained.  I don't want topical preaching that only sprinkles a few verses in here an there so they can call it "preaching".   Give me good old fashioned expository teaching.   Maybe I'm old - but I miss the days BEFORE going to church was like attending a concert and hearing feel good message about prosperity, or "its ok if you sin a little bit, everyone does."    I so look forward to going home where all of this will be but a distant memory, and 10,000 years from now forgotten.

Same here, Todd. And add to that churches whose sermons are just so basic. Nothing but infant milk. So I end up listening to a lot of J. Vernon McGee's CDs. I want something that is going to make a spiritual difference in my life. Something that helps me grow closer to God. Too bad I cannot find any audio sermons from A.W. Tozer.

Me too! Back in the 80's when I first started to hear his voice on the radio I was put off by it but then one day it became like honey to my ear. He was a true man of God.
