For some Christians, ‘rapture anxiety’ can take a lifetime to heal
Tue September 27, 2022

....Experiences like Ajoy’s – a latent fear of an impending, inevitable end – are very common among communities of religious trauma survivors. On social media, former church members recall being tricked by church leaders into watching violent rapture-themed films or crying themselves to sleep thinking about people and pets that would be left behind when the end finally came....

One would thing they could have used a real Bible where Genesis is in the front of the book, not the middle. 🙁

I read the whole article and it might have been nice if they could have found someone who actually understood grace and faith and what true watching for the Savior means.....it was totally secular, mocking and so wrong in so many places....... :negative:

That was the thing...it was from CNN. What else would we expect from the godless!

One of the comments said something like, "What the flip!?.......I'll tell you what will give you real anxiety, is to NOT go in the rapture...." I had to laugh at that one! :mdrmdr:

For anyone paying attention to what is going on in the world and doesn't have their head buried in the sand I cannot imagine the anxiety they must feel not having God to rely on. The world is in a hot mess and it won't get any better before it gets a lot worse. Only those who know Jesus can rest peacefully.

The mockers are out in full force in my family.  I shared a couple weeks ago that my mom smirked and said "good" at the thought of all the Christians disappearing.  Then, because my mom moved to a senior living facility, my sister and I are sorting through the things she didn't take with her and deciding who to give them to.   I just received an email from My sister declaring that my family doesn't need anything if we are going to be raptured. At least I am glad I have been able to make her aware of the rapture and the saving power of Jesus. I told her to trust me when I say she doesn't want to be here after the rapture and that she could ask Jesus to save her right now.

A proud look and a haughty spirit isn't appealing to God or us!  TR

That was priceless to me too churchgal, and I had to share it! Still funny! :mdrmdr:

John, just reading that "Only those who know Jesus can rest peacefully," brings calm.

Blue, it is so sad for you Cry and us to watch our loved one's be so deceived when the world changes in themselves should cause awareness, questions and searching as to what's happening!? Praying for all blinders to fall off each one, and all the lost.
