For some Christians, ‘rapture anxiety’ can take a lifetime to heal ....Experiences like Ajoy’s – a latent fear of an impending, inevitable end – are very common among communities of religious trauma survivors. On social media, former church members recall being tricked by church leaders into watching violent rapture-themed films or crying themselves to sleep thinking about people and pets that would be left behind when the end finally came.... One would thing they could have used a real Bible where Genesis is in the front of the book, not the middle. 🙁 I read the whole article and it might have been nice if they could have found someone who actually understood grace and faith and what true watching for the Savior means.....it was totally secular, mocking and so wrong in so many places....... :negative: That was the thing...it was from CNN. What else would we expect from the godless! One of the comments said something like, "What the flip!?.......I'll tell you what will give you real anxiety, is to NOT go in the rapture...." I had to laugh at that one! :mdrmdr: I am glad you posted Kolleen, it is more support of the mocking......more confidence in the season; and that last comment was priceless!! :mdrmdr:
