18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:18 If the church were appointed to endure the Tribulation, the most comforting thing I can imagine would be to telling them they might be blessed and die before it begins. The Thessalonians were already (falsely) alarmed they were in the Tribulation. How would telling them things are going to get a lot worse relieve them? On the other hand, telling them it hadn't begun because they would not see any part of it would be a great comfort. This is also a comforting thought that Gary pointed out ... “Jesus' promise in Revelation 3:10 to keep the church of Philadelphia "from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world" is pretty explicit. That alone is enough for me, but there are many other Scriptures that point to a pre-tribulation rapture. “ -Fair use- Good stuff from Gary at Unsealed. Appreciate the thoughts and insights that come from that ministry. It is hard for me to understand how anyone willing to set aside preconceived bias and unsupported tradition can read material like this and conclude anything but a pre-tribulation rapture. It is what it is. I have no problem with non pre-trib people. It will all work out in the end. The problem for me arrives when otherwise "intelligent" people justify their stupidity and hide behind their intelligence?! TR ......or their pride.
