I certainly don't want to take anything away from your thread but I must say the Lord opened a small window of opportunity for my husband to share Farag's ABC's with his dying brother in the hospital. Tuesday when Mike visited his brother he was lucid. He has been been mostly confused from lack of O2 combined with high doses of pain meds. Mike read the ABC's first then gave our printed copy to David. David read it 3 times and said, 'this is easy', "Mike said as ABC.' Soon, David slipped back to being incoherent. BUT GOD gave David one more opportunity, Praise His Holy Name! I am asking the Lord to give your Mom and her friend the same opportunity. May the Word cut through all their deception and lies like a two-edged sword! In Jesus Name, Amen. Wow, Susan that is wonderful news! And anybody that has a loved one or friend in a coma and you’re trying to reach them … keep talking to them regardless if they don’t show any response … because my sister was in a horrible car accident back in the late 1980’s and she was in a coma for a few weeks and even though she didn’t show any response to our conversations … she claimed she heard us and remembers ALL our visits. I was amazed by that and believe the Lord will work even when we think its a hopeless situation … with God, all things are possible! True word! TR
