Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Friday that Florida has returned nearly $1 billion in federal funds after meeting with Elon Musk. “For years, Florida has been trying to return federal funds to the federal government due to the ideological strings attached by the Biden Administration—but they couldn’t even figure out how to accept it,” the governor said in a post on X. “Today, I met with @elonmusk and the DOGE team, and we got this done in the same day.” The governor’s office said they will “also continue to identify other unused or surplus federal funding granted to Florida and determine if further refunds can be made.” The announcement comes one month after DeSantis revealed the creation of the Florida DOGE task force which is set to “further eliminate waste within state government, save taxpayers money, and ensure accountability in Florida,” according to a press release. https://dailycaller.com/2025/03/22/governor-desantis-federal-funds-billion-musk-doge-florida/ Jeffrey Goldberg, the virulently anti-Trump editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claims he was accidentally added to a secure Signal group chat where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive military operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen. And instead of simply excusing himself from the conversation, Goldberg did what elitist far-left journalists do best—he took screenshots of the conversation and ran to his keyboard to try to leak the military operation. National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes believed the Signal chain was real and downplayed Goldberg’s pearl-clutching. The Signal thread “appears to be an authentic message chain, and we are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain,” Hughes told the New York Post. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/03/editor-chief-trump-hating-atlantic-claims-he-was/ As Breitbart News reported, during an interview on CNN in February, Noem was asked what she would say if President Donald Trump asked her if he should get rid of FEMA. Noem responded by stating that she “would say, yes, get rid of FEMA the way it exists today,” and described FEMA as being a “bureaucracy that’s picking and choosing winners”: Noem said, “I would say, yes, get rid of FEMA the way it exists today, we still need the resources and the funds and the finances to go to people that have these types of disasters, like Hurricane Helene and the fires in California but you need to let the local officials make the decisions on how that is deployed, so it can be deployed much quicker. And we don’t need this bureaucracy that’s picking and choosing winners.” In January, during an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Trump criticized FEMA for complicating “everything,” and added that the agency “has not done their job for the last four years.” Trump added that he would “rather see the states take care of their own problems.” In an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz broke his silence on the now-infamous Signal app leak that included the infiltration of a Trump administration national security group chat by a Trump-hating Atlantic editor—a scandal that the far-left media is using to deflect from the administration’s recent string of foreign policy victories. “Look, I’m not a conspiracy nut,” Waltz began, “But of all the people out there, somehow this guy who has lied about the President, who has lied to Gold Star families, lied to their attorneys, and gone to Russia hoax, gone to just all kinds of lengths to lie and smear the President of the United States—and he’s the one that somehow gets on somebody’s contact and then gets sucked into this group.” …It’s embarrassing, yes. We’re going to get to the bottom of it. I just talked to Elon on the way here. We’ve got the best technical minds looking at how this happened. But I can tell you for 100%, I don’t know this guy. The mystery deepened as Ingraham grilled Waltz on how the editor’s number ended up in the chat. Determined to get answers, she pushed harder, questioning why Goldberg’s number was even saved on his phone. Waltz doubled down, insisting the contact must have “sucked in somehow” – though he couldn’t explain how. He claimed the person he thought was in the group chat wasn’t there—it was Goldberg instead. Mike Waltz: Mike Waltz: It appears that Speaker Mike Johnson has finally woken up to the threats by radical leftist judges who have taken over the White House and US executive branch of government. Johnson on Tuesday warned that Congress has the authority to defund these radical leftists who are running a legal insurrection against the country today. Since returning to the White House on January 20, 2025, President Donald J. Trump has been met with an unprecedented onslaught of legal challenges from far-left activist judges and groups determined to sabotage his second term in power. ABC Reporter: It’s getting pretty ugly. House Speaker Mike Johnson issuing an open threat now, saying that Congress has authority to stop providing funding to federal courts. Listen to what the speaker said just a little while ago. Speaker Mike Johnson: We do have authority over the federal courts, as you know. We can eliminate an entire district court. We have powered funding over the courts and all these other things. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and Congress is going to act. So stay tuned for that. Five Doves, Donna Danna (23 Mar 2025) FULL STORY at above link. President Trump announced on Wednesday that he would impose 25 percent tariffs on all cars imported into the United States, a sweeping measure aimed at revitalizing domestic manufacturing and reducing the nation’s trade imbalance. The tariffs, set to take effect on April 2, will apply to finished cars and trucks shipped into the country, including American brands manufactured overseas. The move is part of Trump’s broader push to encourage companies to establish manufacturing operations in the United States. “Anybody who has plants in the United States, it’s going to be good for,” Trump said, calling the initiative “very exciting.” https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2025/03/26/trump-car-tariff/ Colorado Democrats are more than willing to blow taxpayer money on programs for illegal aliens; however, when it comes to coverage for American mothers and their unborn babies, they will apparently appeal to lethal ways to reduce spending. Senate Bill 183 — a consequence of Colorado voters' overwhelming support last year for Colorado Amendment 79, which set the stage for the use of public funds for abortion — passed the state Senate in a 22-12 party-line vote on March 12. Prior to the bill passing the committee on health and human services on Tuesday, Colorado House Speaker Julie McCluskie (D), a prime sponsor of the legislation, indicated that the use of taxpayer funds to kill babies could save the state a little bit of money. "That savings comes from the averted births that will not occur because abortions happened instead," McCluskie said in a video shared to social media. "So a birth is more expensive than an abortion — so the saving comes in Medicaid births that will not occur." According to Democrats' calculus, abortions will not only save the state on total reimbursement costs for the delivery of children but will likely also spare the state from having to deal with additional costs that might arise in relation to human beings whose lives they failed to "avert." State Rep. Kenneth G. DeGraaf (R) tweeted, "Holy Human-Haters, Batman! 'Killing people is less expensive than caring for them' coming soon from a eugenicist near you." Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck underscored in his "Glenn TV" Wednesday Night Special that while the JFK files are disappointing if approached with questions of who, questions about what — "What has been going down? What are they trying to protect? What is the source of most of this mess?" — yield illuminating answers. Over the course of the special, Beck zeroed in on what-centric documents that should put to bed any remaining doubts that the CIA is (or at least until recently has been) an unchecked, meddlesome, and dangerous organization willing to interfere in American elections, businesses, and media reports. Going beyond the archives, Beck handily demonstrated with a replica of the rifle Oswald supposedly used in 1963, along with the appropriate "CIA bullets," that the single-shooter narrative is plausible. Beck also spoke to Shane Stevens, the grandson of Billie Sol Estes — a Texas businessman with alleged ties to Lyndon B. Johnson — about an expert-authenticated recording in which an alleged associate of LBJ accused him of hiring a hit man to take out Kennedy. Beck covered a lot of ground in his Wednesday special, discussing, for instance: ...In January, Alex Jones of Infowars hosted Shane Stevens and played never-heard-before digital audio of Clifton Carter, the former executive director of the Democratic National Committee and an apparently close associate of LBJ, claiming in conversation with Stevens' grandfather, convicted fraudster Billie Sol Estes, that Johnson hired a man named Malcolm "Mac" Wallace to kill JFK. ...."This does not mean there wasn't involvement by the CIA, the Secret Service, FBI, Mafia, or others, but I do believe it helps confirm the LBJ and Mac Wallace involvement." When pressed about his delay in releasing the audio, Stevens told Beck his grandfather tried on more than one occasion to "release the truth" but came to fear for his life. Well, look, a staffer wasn’t responsible. Look, I take full responsibility. I built the group. My job is to make sure everything’s coordinated. But how does that—I don’t mean to be pedantic here, but how did the number get into the chat? Have you ever had somebody’s contact that shows their name, and then you have somebody else’s number there?
You’ve got somebody else’s number on someone else’s contact. Of course, I didn’t see this loser in the group. It looked like someone else.
