The DOJ announced on Tuesday that Brown will be prosecuted at the federal level and has been charged with one count of committing an act causing death on a mass transportation system. “I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder. We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence — he will never again see the light of day as a free man,” Attorney General Pam Bondi announced in a statement. However, Zinn was charged with obstruction of justice, not with the assassination, FOX 13 Salt Lake City noted. The outlet pointed to police documents indicating Zinn was arrested after allegedly screaming, “I shot him. Now shoot me!” When no officers shot, Zinn alleged yelled again, “I shot him. Now shoot me!” Zinn was taken to the police station and, once there, allegedly explained that he did what he did “to draw attention from the real shooter.” Thereafter he “was booked into the Utah County Jail on a charge of Obstruction of Justice, a second degree felony.” President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. Military had conducted a “SECOND Kinetic Strike” against another Venezuelan narco-terrorist boat that had been carrying “illegal narcotics.” In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the strike resulted in three “male terrorists” being killed, and added that “no U.S. Forces were harmed” during the strike.
