White House Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt amplified claims about American special forces super-soliders deployed advanced weaponry during the extraction phase of former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. Leavitt reposted an alleged account from a Venezuelan security guard at Maduro's compound describing what happened when Delta Force operators descended from helicopters in pitch-black conditions. This account was originally posted on X by California-based political activist Mike Netter, who is seeking to recall left-wing Governor Gavin Newsom. "On the day of the operation, we didn't hear anything coming. We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation. The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn't know how to react," the security guard on Maduro's compound said. This account was considered credible enough for Leavitt to repost. Interviewer: So what happened next? How was the main attack? Security Guard: After those drones appeared, some helicopters arrived, but there were very few. I think barely eight helicopters. From those helicopters, soldiers came down, but a very small number. Maybe twenty men. But those men were technologically very advanced. They didn't look like anything we've fought against before. Interviewer: And then the battle began? Security Guard: Yes, but it was a massacre. We were hundreds, but we had no chance. They were shooting with such precision and speed... it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute. We couldn't do anything. Interviewer: And your own weapons? Didn't they help? Security Guard: No help at all. Because it wasn't just the weapons. At one point, they launched something—I don't know how to describe it... it was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside. We all started bleeding from the nose. Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. Those twenty men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us. We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons. I swear, I've never seen anything like it. We couldn't even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was. What happened here is going to change a lot of things, not just in Venezuela but throughout the region. There is no way to independently verify Netter's X post, and it reads like narrative warfare, amplified by the White House, seemingly designed to intimidate Latin American governments under socialist regimes. The Trump administration on Tuesday announced it will end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalia, which will affect thousands of Somalis living in the country. “Temporary means temporary. Country conditions in Somalia have improved to the point that it no longer meets the law’s requirement for Temporary Protected Status,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement. The United States first granted Somalia TPS in 1991 as part of an ongoing civil war in the country; President Joe Biden extended its TPS in September 2024. Widespread fraud has reached billions of dollars of taxpayer-funded programs involving the Somali community across the country, especially in Minnesota. Noem explained about the alleged criminal enterprise running in Minnesota: And many of the times we’ve dug into this and it’s [enabled by] immigration fraud [within Somali clans]. They came into this country lying on their [identity] documents, why they could come and why they were eligible to use our [refugee] programs. [President] Joe Biden facilitated this all, and as we uncover more of this criminal activity, we’re going to continue to surge resources to make sure that this abuse of government funds and government [immigration] power no longer continues in Minnesota. President Donald Trump’s State Department is freezing all visa processing from 75 countries that the agency has discovered produce waves of welfare-dependent migrants to the United States. On Wednesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that such visa processing would be frozen to avoid more welfare-dependent migration to the U.S. “The State Department will pause immigrant visa processing from 75 countries whose migrants take welfare from the American people at unacceptable rates,” the State Department wrote in a statement. “The freeze will remain active until the U.S. can ensure that new immigrants will not extract wealth from the American people.” “The pause impacts dozens of countries – including Somalia, Haiti, Iran, and Eritrea – whose immigrants often become public charges on the United States upon arrival,” the statement continued. “We are working to ensure the generosity of the American people will no longer be abused. The Trump Administration will always put America First." The move comes after Trump shared data of welfare use among immigrant groups in the U.S., showing that more than 81 percent of migrant households from Bhutan are on welfare, as well as 75 percent of households from Yemen, 72 percent of households from Somalia, 71 percent of households from the Marshall Islands, 68 percent of households from the Dominican Republic, 68 percent of households from Afghanistan, and 66 percent of households from the Congo, among others. President Donald Trump on Thursday introduced the Great Healthcare Plan, a comprehensive healthcare plan to lower drug prices and health insurance premiums, hold big insurance companies accountable, and increase price transparency. “Instead of putting the needs of big corporations and special interests first, our plan finally puts you first,” Trump said in a video announcing the Great Healthcare Plan. “It puts more money in your pocket. The government is going to pay the money directly to you. It goes to you, and then you take the money and buy your own health care.” Trump’s plan would codify many of the policies that his administration has already taken to lower drug costs and institute healthcare price transparency. The Great Healthcare Plan would seek to lower prescription drug prices for Americans by codifying Trump’s Most-Favored-Nation deals to get Americans the same low prices for prescription drugs that people in other countries pay. It also makes more verified pharmaceutical drugs available for over-the-counter purchase. The president’s plan would stop sending billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded subsidy payments to health insurers and instead send them directly to the American people to purchase a health insurance plan that aligns more with their choice. The plan would fund a cost-sharing reduction program to bring down health insurance premiums by at least 10 percent and save taxpayers at least $36 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). Trump’s plan would also end kickbacks paid by pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) to large brokerage middleman that “deceptively raise the cost of health insurance.” The Great Healthcare Plan would require that insurance companies prominently post the profits they take out of premiums as well as publish rate and coverage comparisons so that consumers can shop for the best healthcare service with the insurance coverage they have. It would also require insurance companies to publish the percentage of claims they reject and average wait times for routine care. A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer who fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has reportedly suffered internal bleeding to his torso, according to a report. Vice President JD Vance responded to reports that Ross had suffered internal bleeding, pointing out that “much of” the people on the left have “lied about this case.” “While much of left has lied about this case, it turns out ramming a law enforcement officer with a car causes injuries,” Vance wrote in a post on X. “Who knew!”White House Amplifies Shocking Claims Of US Super Soldiers Deployed In Maduro Raid:
