Yes, this is not primarily a religious war. Israel is friends with Azerbaijan so they can buy their oil and sell them weapons. Israel needs to be careful here since Azerbaijan's ally is stating that Jerusalem is theirs. Erdogan is being hyper nationalistic and is promoting an islamic cause but he really is a secular person, probably a Freemason. However, he is appealing to Syrian terrorists telling them that it is a religious conflict. Then the imams are preaching hatred and it has lead to the recruitment of 5,000 + terrorists to fight against Armenia. Pakistan has sent some terrorists, as well. This is no mere ethnic conflict. It's a lot more complicated than that. I’m sure it is much more complicated and highly political, it’s all about control of the region ... Agreed. There is an old African proverb, “When the elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.” The powerful countries are having a turf war and it is Armenia and Azerbaijan that suffer. Civilians are dying on both sides and both countries already have wobbly economies. This never should have been an issue, whatsoever. Stalin gave Armenian majority (over 90% Armenian in a census in 1921) Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan to appease the Turks and with the hope that they would become Communist. Not to mention his divide and rule tactics that have born disastrous results in the last few decades. The truly stupid thing is that Nagorno Karabakh legally voted to secede in 1988. A vast majority of Nagorno Karabakh were and are Armenians. They have inhabited the area for thousands of years. Now when Muslim majority Kosovo did that and Serbia objected, NATO bombed Serbia back into the Stone Age. Kosovo got their independence. There is a great deal of hypocrisy there. I guess the problem is that I expect better and expecting the world system to act honourably and morally is a fool’s errand. Indeed, a sin sick world! Without Jesus no one would live! When we choose men's laws rather than God's, man can only degrade and debase himself! TR Thanks, TR. I needed to hear that. Justice will be done, one day. Pray and put it in God’s hands.
