Yes,  this is not primarily a religious war.  Israel is friends with Azerbaijan so they can buy their oil and sell them weapons. Israel needs to be careful here since Azerbaijan's ally is stating that Jerusalem is theirs.

Erdogan is being hyper nationalistic and is promoting an islamic cause but he really is a secular person,  probably a Freemason.  However,  he is appealing to Syrian terrorists telling them that it is a religious conflict.  Then the imams are preaching hatred and it has lead to the recruitment of 5,000 + terrorists to fight against Armenia.  Pakistan has sent some terrorists,  as well.

This is no mere ethnic conflict.  It's a lot more complicated than that.

I’m sure it is much more complicated and highly political, it’s all about control of the region ...

Agreed.  There is an old African proverb, “When the elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.”

The powerful countries are having a turf war and it is Armenia and Azerbaijan that suffer. Civilians are dying on both sides and both countries already have wobbly economies.

This never should have been an issue, whatsoever. Stalin gave Armenian majority (over 90% Armenian in a census in 1921) Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan to appease the Turks and with the hope that they would become Communist. Not to mention his divide and rule tactics that have born disastrous results in the last few decades.

The truly stupid thing is that Nagorno Karabakh legally voted to secede in 1988. A vast majority of Nagorno Karabakh were and are Armenians. They have inhabited the area for thousands of years.

Now when Muslim majority Kosovo did that and Serbia objected, NATO bombed Serbia back into the Stone Age. Kosovo got their independence. There is a great deal of hypocrisy there.

I guess the problem is that I expect better and expecting the world system to act honourably and morally is a fool’s errand.

Indeed, a sin sick world!  Without Jesus no one would live!

When we choose men's laws rather than  God's, man can only degrade and debase himself!

Thanks, TR. I needed to hear that.

Justice will be done, one day.

Pray and put it in God’s hands. Smile

Arthur, I have personally seen much of human deprivation played out on innocent victims too many times. Without God, humanity follows the way of sin ... Cain killed his brother in a fit of anger related to jealousy because of sin in his heart. This has played out a thousand fold, we continue to kill babies before they are born, human trafficking is at an all time high (this involves innocent children as well as women and men), every generation sees the cruelty of man against man when God is not in charge. But, you are correct, God has promised to judge the world in righteousness.. soon, I pray it is over and our God will reign. :prayer-hands:

Informative article from the Jerusalem Post.  The powers like Germany,  Russia,  Iran,  Turkey,  etc.  Do not want the war to stop since they are selling arms.  May the wicked be judged,  oh Lord!

Indeed, the sins of men are global!  The globalist agenda has been revealed.

Truth is, all of mankind is in need of prayer!  Firstly from the evil men do and more importantly from spiritual realities destined to steal and sabotage our eternal spiritual destiny!!!

Yes,  it is a sin problem and unregenerate  people are going to act wickedly.

I pray that Armenia will turn to the One True and Living God in their hour of need rather than succumb to a spirit of bitterness and hatred.

I am also praying that they will have a glorious nation in the Millenial Kingdom.  May Armenians see that the here and now is not all there is.  May they know that there is a glorious future ahead for those that are reconciled to God the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father God,  please intervene and protect the Armenian people from destruction.  Draw them to yourself.  We know that you are ever faithful and haven't forgotten that Armenia was the first nation to specifically choose to adopt Christianity.  Please bless them and may there be a powerful revival in Armrnia and in their diaspora.
