I agree with Derrick! Even if one were to correctly calculate and pick the correct day, it would still lack any definitive or divine authority! Ergo, another fine reason for a divine disclosure! For me, it won’t be a done deal till we hear from the Lord! TR Personally, I do not put any stock in modern day prophets. Jesus’ first advent put an end to prophets so that pretty much ends that discussion for me. And it’s easy enough to test them because it only takes one miss to show that they are not prophets. Kim Clement is a fine example of this. I know people still hold to him being a modern day prophet but he’s been wrong as much as right and so that very fact proves that he is not a prophet because God cannot lie. To me, Bible codes are only useful to show things that have already happened (if they even do that) because otherwise there is absolutely no difference between them and palm readers, soothsayers, and astrology. God forbids such practices and that means all of them. So I hold no value in Bible codes. i do hope the Lord will call the church home soon. its hard to watch the level of wickedness that this world is diving into. we know once the church goes home, that God will complete His work that leads Israel to repent, and then Jesus will return. Satan's days of rule are numbered. those who see antichrist come to power, see the two witnesses, see the abomination of desolation come to pass will be for sure in the time of the generation that will not all pass away. they will see "all these things" and know the coming of Jesus is at the door - matt 24:20-34 God has given us this comfort, plain in His word, that the church will rise to meet Christ in the air; we can hope in the Lord every day. zechariah isn't talking about the church at all zech 2:11 verse he brings up is about when Christ returns to rule. there will be people from the nations that do survive the tribulation and will be able to enjoy the kingdom that Christ establishes. nothing to do with the rapture of the church at all zech 2:10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord. 11 And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee. 12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. Is anybody feeling it? I have high hopes for this week but, I am especially keeping my eyes peeled for Sunday morning! Jesus is coming SOOOOOON! Again for me, if we are still here after June 21st we will probably be here through Sept/Oct of 2022! God forbid! I agree with Yohanan by and large about prophets! For me it’s not even about the rate of accuracy so much! But I share God’s heart with mere men speaking thus sayeth the Lord, when He has not spoken!!! Woe unto them! TR
