I’m pondering Acts 1:10-11 “And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; ... Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” So are the angels referring to the rapture or the 2nd coming event? Weren’t those at this sighting looking up part of the early church group? 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Sorry Watchman, I just realized this is a Pentecost rapture thread. I didn’t mean to “rain on your parade” with the Ascension rapture theory. How ironic though in the midst of massive storm clouds on rapture day perhaps “its raining cat and dogs” during the event ... but in this case ... our beloved cats and dogs are seen flying upward with us! :mdrmdr: I still lean the changing of our bodies is in a nano second but the flying away part is much slower and the left behind will see us and our pets flying away. Then immediately following when we are out of sight ... I can just picture the aliens (demons) with their flying ufo’s coming down and telling the lie. May, May May! Maybe this May! Can't ya just hear the Lord saying: I love it when my plans come together! Ascension Day and Pentecost have been my go to favorites for a long time. Whereas Pentecost is esteemed by both Jew and Gentile. TR
