B-) Yes, the unsaved will be saying “peace and safety” and the thief in the night happens to them because the church (well perhaps not all the church are watchers) but those who are watching are alert and anticipating the rapture. The question really should be ... what is the “Day of the Lord” in that passage .. is that the rapture event or when judgment starts? The church could still be long gone and not have to wait for the world to be in a false sense of “calmness” with the cure for the virus, etc. Because there is another verse that says “the Lord is coming at an hour you think not” so if we are waiting for calmness to return and “business as usual” that wouldn’t fulfill “when you think not”. The eating, drinking, marrying, partying (college students were on spring break at the beaches) and some are still having secret big entertainment parties in their homes and buying (or should I say hoarding up paper products and food) is still happening right now during the calamity. Sorry to be a “fickle Fiona” but I’m also pondering ... when the graves open up for the “dead in Christ saints” to rise ... how much damage will be done to the earth’s tectonic plates? :scratch: Will that trigger major earthquakes globally? Will it trigger tsunami tidal waves globally? Will that trigger all the volcanoes including Yellowstone to explode? Let alone if there are vehicle, bus, train, airplane, etc. crashes. Is that the “sudden destruction”? If so ... then the rapture could be tide in with having to wait for the world to cry out for “peace and safety” and a cure for the virus? :unsure: I think the real reason for the call up of the National Guard and Navy hospitals off the coasts could be expected earthquakes and volcanoes...and i am also wondering if there will be an event that could change us back to a 360 day per year count. The earth is getting ready for the Lord's return. There can be an earthquake with the rapture and the G/M war all happening at about the same time as we see many events converging....with the virus right along with them. Following the G/M war will come the white horse..peace and safety, then the red horse..another war which could be the sudden destruction. So, the peace and safety and sudden destruction is all most likely either right after we are gone, or mid-trib. That would mean we don't have to wait for peace and safety, we can leave this week! Some people call the tremendous earthquake that accompanies the Rapture, the "Birthquake."
