Elon Musk is calling out Biden-Harris’ FEMA in a fiery rant, accusing the federal agency of actively obstructing humanitarian efforts in the wake of widespread devastation in North Carolina. In a series of explosive posts on X, the furious billionaire CEO revealed that his SpaceX engineers, who are on the ground providing vital communications and supplies via Starlink technology, are being blocked by FEMA from delivering lifesaving resources to victims in Asheville and surrounding areas. According to Musk, SpaceX has already powered up two large operating bases for helicopters to deliver goods into the hands of those in desperate need. Utah State University has confirmed that its women’s volleyball team will not play against San Jose State, making the Utahans the fourth college team to refuse to play against San Jose’s transgender player. Three other schools have also refused to take the court against San Jose, which has included on its team 6-foot-one Blaire Fleming, who identifies as a woman. The NCAA is now being sued by several groups over its policy of allowing transgender players to play as women. Britain’s left-wing government announced a plan on Thursday to surrender sovereignty of a British Overseas Territory in the Indian Ocean that has hosted an important joint U.S.-UK military base and listening post for the past 50 years. The United Kingdom is giving the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, from whom it bought the archipelago in the 1960s. The announcement is the latest development in years of sovereignty claims by Mauritius, now drifting into China’s sphere of influence, which until recently were not even recognised as legitimate by the UK or its allies. Unfortunately, FEMA isn’t just not showing up; it’s also actively hindering the citizens and private groups who are actually providing aid. One of Glenn’s sources “is a semi-truck driver who [was] pulled over by FEMA.” “They took his food off his truck” that was going to help victims, says Glenn in disgust. According to Glenn’s report, FEMA is also trying to shut down the area where private planes and helicopters are landing to bring assistance. “We have FEMA trying to shut down this helo field because the FAA isn't involved. Screw the FAA! If you had planes down here and you had helicopters yourself and you were rescuing them, then fine, we'd shut this down, but you're not here!” he says. Captive to the Marxist notion that religion is an "opiate of the masses," the communist Chinese regime began taking over churches and temples in the 1950s; deporting missionaries; and closely monitoring religious groups. Pew Research noted that during the Cultural Revolution, dictator Mao Zedong sought to eliminate religion outright, banning all religious activities, viciously persecuting religious personnel, and, in many cases, slaughtering Christian clerics and laypeople. While the regime drew blood and flattened churches, the faithful went underground. While there was a relative easing of restrictions in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the regime has continued to subject Chinese Christians of all denominations to harassment, torture, detentions, and executions. Breaking bodies hasn't worked, so the regime is trying harder now to break the Chinese Christian's mind. Authorities have reportedly ordered the removal of all crosses from all known churches and for images of Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary to be replaced with pictures of Xi Jingping. The regime also requires the display of CCP slogans over the entrances of churches. Religious texts have been censored or removed altogether. Homilies are censored. Surveillance cameras installed on altars surveil all church happenings. Blaze News previously reported that to ensure state atheism takes, people under the age of 18 are also barred from participating in religious ceremonies. According to the Christian persecution watchdog Open Doors, there are now an estimated 96.7 million Christians in China. ... the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom recommended that the U.S. government re-designate China as a "country of particular concern" for "engaging in systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom." The watchdog further recommending imposing sanctions targeting those Chinese officials and entities responsible for such freedom violations.
