I saw a commercial for Roundup on TV the other day. I was surprised since there have been so many ads for lawyers wanting to take on cases from people damaged by it. Avocado oil is good for frying too … except if you’re making homemade onion rings … for some reason it took the batter off. This is a misc. thread so it's all good. So is your flatbread difficult to make Arthur? I don't make it myself but buy it from an Armenian bakery. I hear you can make it in a pan, although it is not quite the same apparently. I use Milk Thistle, too. Very good for your liver. I'm not recommending this. I haven't tried it but there are a lot of recipes on YouTube. you can make pita bread, flat bread and others in a pan. I have been looking for easy recipes to make bread in a pan cause I want to make grain free bread. Green Energy Company Pleads Guilty After Their Wind Farms KILL 150 Bald Eagles: A green energy company has pleaded guilty after it was discovered that 150 Bald Eagles have been killed by their wind farms. The Bald Eagle is the symbol of America and they are a protected species. Killing them is a serious crime. Do you remember a few years ago when Trump suggested that this could happen and people on the left scoffed at him? A subsidiary of one of the largest U.S. providers of renewable energy pleaded guilty to criminal charges and was ordered to pay over $8 million in fines and restitution after at least 150 bald eagles were killed at its wind farms in eight states, federal prosecutors said Wednesday. NextEra Energy subsidiary ESI Energy was also sentenced to five years probation after being charged with three counts of violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act during a court appearance in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The charges arose from the deaths of nine bald eagles at three wind farms in Wyoming and New Mexico. In addition to those deaths, the company acknowledged the deaths of golden and bald eagles at 50 wind farms affiliated with ESI and NextEra since 2012, prosecutors said. Birds were killed in eight states: Wyoming, California, New Mexico, North Dakota, Colorado, Michigan, Arizona and Illinois. America's largest teachers' union poured tens of millions into political causes last year, spent comparatively little on members: America's largest teachers' union, the National Education Association, spent twice as much on politics-related expenses as it did on its own members last year, according to an analysis of the union's financial disclosures. In its analysis, the nonprofit reportedly found that during the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the NEA, which boasts more than 3 million members, "donated $66 million to political activities and another $117 million to 'contributions, gifts, and grants that were primarily political donations." . . . Meanwhile, just 9% of the union's budget was spent on direct assistance to members. The exorbitant amount of political spending, the group said, shows where the union's "priorities lie." https://www.theblaze.com/news/largest-teachers-union-political-spending U.S. Postal Service to Increase Postage Prices: The United States Postal Service (USPS) announced Wednesday that it aims to raise postage prices by July 10 and has filed a notice of the desired changes with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC). The Forever stamp will move from 58 cents to 60 cents, marking what would be its second price hike in a year, CBS noted. In August, it moved from 55 cents to 58 cents. Between August of last year and this upcoming July, the stamp’s cost would have gone up nine percent, or five cents, should the prices take effect. But the Forever stamp is not the only postage increase that could come this summer, according to the USPS: If favorably reviewed by the PRC, the single-piece letter additional ounce price would increase to 24 cents, the metered mail 1-ounce price would increase to 57 cents and the price of a postcard stamp would increase to 44 cents. A one-ounce letter mailed to other countries would increase to $1.40 cents. The Postal Service is also seeking price adjustments for Special Services products including Certified Mail, Post Office Box rental fees, Money Order fees, and the cost to purchase insurance when mailing an item.
Couches are more interesting than Roundup, anyway. ?
