Parts of Spain appear to merge with the sea after historic rain in before-and-after images:

The deadly flooding that rocked Spain this week following intense, historic rainfall is so expansive and severe the area looked like an inland sea from space.

(CNN) — The deadly flooding that rocked Spain this week following intense, historic rainfall is so expansive and severe the area looked like an inland sea from space.

A year’s worth of rain fell in just hours in east-central Spain Tuesday, creating a surge of floodwater that broke the banks of rivers, turned streets into raging rapids and washed away cars and bridges.

At least 155 people were killed in the catastrophic floods...

Floodwaters appear as various shades of blue and cover what was dry ground (browns and greens) earlier this month, the imagery shows. The dramatic, widespread coverage of floodwater over inland areas has almost turned coastal areas into islands.

SoCal: Evacuations Underway as Massive 772-Acre [much larger now] Wildfire Rages Out of Control in Pacific Palisades Amid Gusty Winds – People Panic and Abandon Their Cars! (VIDEOS)

Evacuations were underway as a massive wildfire raged out of control and engulfed homes in Pacific Palisades, California, on Tuesday.

According to AccuWeather, wind gusts reached up to 65 miles per hour in Southern California on Tuesday.

Shocking video of a ‘fire tornado’ was posted to X.

People panicked after they got stuck in traffic trying to flee the fire and abandoned their cars on Sunset Blvd.

The cars were being bulldozed to make room for emergency vehicles.

California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom was on ground watching his state burn down as Democrat legislators refuse to properly manage underbrush.

Live Updates: 5 Simultaneous Wildfires Threaten Lives, Homes in Los Angeles:

A raging wildfire that broke out in the mountains above the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA, Tuesday is spreading across the region due to extreme winds, causing historic destruction of homes and displacing thousands of people.

Follow Breitbart News for live coverage of this breaking news story. All times eastern.

11:46 AM — Two deaths reported in the Eaton Fire.

11:44 AM — President-elect Donald Trump says Gov. Gavin “Newscum” is to blame for the current crisis by restricting water distribution in favor of environmentalists’ concerns.

10:50 AM — A Los Angeles resident captured video of downed power lines sparking against trees Tuesday night.

10:40 AM — Officials identify five different wildfires that are “0% contained.”

9:29 AM — Elon Musk, who is extricating several of his businesses from California, blames “nonsense regulations” in the state for multiplying the damage and loss of life when fires break out.
8:35 AM — The Pacific Palisades disaster has renewed attention on the identity politics of Kristin Crowley, the first woman (and the first queer woman) to serve as LAFD Fire Chief. Crowley was sworn in to her post in March of 2022, and she and Mayor Eric Garcetti established a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Bureau in January 2023.
8:28 AM — The Screen Actors Guild cancels a live announcement of nominees for its annual awards show, and several film premieres have also been postponed.
8:23 AM — Businessman and former L.A. mayoral candidate Rick Caruso says the Pacific Palisades area has no water in the hydrants at the moment, accusing the local government of mismanaging resources like a “third-world country.”
And the worst could be yet to come....

...But other roads were blocked.... “People were getting out of the cars with their dogs and babies and bags, they were crying and screaming. The road was just blocked, like full-on blocked for an hour.”

Recent dry winds, including the notorious Santa Anas, have contributed to warmer-than-average temperatures in Southern California, where there’s been very little rain so far this season. Southern California hasn’t seen more than 0.1 inches (0.25 centimeters) of rain since early May.
