So Geri, my dear sister — I have coffee “bags” similar to a tea bag for the worse case scenario. I just heat up the water and dip the coffee bag in and yeah — I coffee in no time. Believe me when I say I have plenty of ways to hear coffee if there is no electricity available and I even have one of those old fashion coffee percolators that I can sit on an open fire….. I am a camper, so got the gear….. :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: Oh Geri... :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: A gas generator is one of three way I have to make coffee. It’s just the most convenient 😎☕️ Exactly! Tea only drinkers don’t understand how serious we coffee lovers are! The power is still not back on and yet I am sipping my second cup of hot, delicious, aromatic java! Mmmmmmmmmmm Yohanan it is kind of fun to sit around without electricity (for a while anyway), and to the Little House on the Prairie pretending. They had coffee back in that day too…. :mdrmdr: When I traveled in Belarus years ago I experienced my first cup of espresso— well as much as I love coffee, that was a bit much. I gave one of my Folgers coffee bags to a Belarusian and his statement (after letting it steep for 20 min) was that it was very weak for espresso :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: I took my first cup of the day to the garden this morning, to sit and watched the tomatoes grow :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:
