Friends:

I've posted a little more than normal lately, so I guess it's obvious that I have things on my mind for which I'm struggling. In my personal paradigm, I utilize prose and poetry to convey feelings I have in the hopes that it might help others that are in the same boat. This is what is going through my convoluted brain this morning.

My Hope Is For Today

Yesterday I was really low and had to faithfully and fervently pray,

But today has been a little better and I think I can tolerate another day;

Tomorrow is yet unknown, and I don’t know how it all will go,

It seems my life is in constant flux trying to determine which way the wind might blow.

I’m physically and emotionally tired, I always seem to be so stressed,

My faith is tested daily, and it is so hard not to be depressed;

The people I love most are desperately lost and stubbornly adrift,

Never realizing that Jesus is there for them whenever they want a lift.

I’m the black sheep of my family, an oddball in my own house,

The neighbors stay away because they think I’m such a louse;

They all claim I’m wasting my life and diminishing my earthly existence,

They want me to become more secular and give up my heavenly persistence.

Each day is such a struggle to keep my head above the breakers,

But my heart is steadfast with Jesus because I know He won’t save fakers!

Christians are definitely in the minority – cursed, taunted, and mocked,

But we won’t care when we arrive in Heaven and our ship is finally, and safely, docked.

Oh, how I wish the Rapture would finally come,

And Jesus would separate us from this world of glum;

We have run so many miles and suffered so much plight,

Lord, can you please come for us TONIGHT!?

Or even this morning would be better Lord!

Your pal,

Humbly

Indeed we not only share all things common to man, but we also share a divine hope and future that is sure!  For those that can receive it, Heaven and spiritual life s more of a reality than the one we know!  The knowledge and love of Christ that we share separates us into the category of the "righteous"!   As previously stated, God's job is to keep being the "I AM"!  Our job is to be found pleasing in His sight!  I also try with my communication skills and with the greatest of articulation and eloquence attempt to share the things we as believers have in common!  But no matter how it is expressed,  we never stand alone!  For the godhead dwells within us, and we have each other!  For if we continue to lift up one another, we lift up Christ!  TR

Awe Humbly that is good and heartfelt…. just remember maybe as the black sheep to the world but the shinning star to the savior. It is with Camaraderie that I agree, this world is tipsy turvy for sure and each day brings new challenges on our battlefield. We each have a different fight but it is a fight none the less and it is because of how much we love our savior that we continue to wage this war. As L.A. Marzulli has said “for the old dragon, it is checkmate, as the King of the universe, the Majesty on high as won and we will glory with Him for all eternity”. It is hard for us now to realize the small minute bit of time we must live in this body of death but the glory that awaits us for ALL eternity will make this life struggles grow very dim in memory and be completely gone as the Father wipes away every tear…. I lift your family before the Father, if not here, than in the tribulation may they remember your words and find your writings and turn to the one who will save them and unite their hearts to you for eternity.

Thank you for that prayer, Tammie!  I have the same prayer for ALL those on the fence or who are good people on earth but are not saved for Eternity.  My heart goes out to all of them that they won't suffer the torture that is ahead of them for which they are unaware and unprepared.    It hurts just to think on the pain, regret, and sorrow that they will face if they don't accept their Savior's Free Gift that was paid at the Cross at Gogatha!

So very true! It is difficult and heart wrenching at times to understand what is ahead for those who turn away the free gift of our loving Lord. I have a few that I pray for and my prayer has changed to request they not be deceived by the lies that will come forth once we are gone. I have done my best to leave “things” behind for them to get a clue.
My favorite two words - “But God”….
He will be interactive with those that accept His salvation, similar to before Calvary, so I also pray, that although it is going to be the most horrific time in human history, they will blossom in spiritual growth and be protected by His amazing Grace and love. Then what a sweet eternity will be before us. :yahoo:

Just keep writing and leaving the truth for them to find. Your witness will be what they turn too in the moment of this crisis. :prayer-hands:

Unfortunately, Tammie, my family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors don't read a thing that I write.  Nor do they want to read it or hear about it. What I write is mostly for the saved so that hopefully any inspiration that emits from me might possibly be shared with others in a way that I can't.

Hopefully just one person, just one person (intentionally repeated for emphasis) somewhere, at some point in time, might be led by The Spirit to be saved through any mortal words that might emanate from me.

We can only hope and pray, plant, till, and water, and lean on our Lord to bring the increase!

Carry on folks in the strength of our Lord in these last days ahead.  Hopefully they are short.

Love your spirit brother!  Though God is altogether lovely and sweet, He also has a practical side!  TR

Keep your words and God’s testament handy — after you are gone, they may go looking and then your words will speak volumes to them — that is the prayer :prayer-hands:

Though your words may go unread and unheard, the spirit of the Lord speaks on your behalf!  Your being still ministers more than you can imagine!  TR
