Ok, so I am going to look forward to August 5th, Tu B Av. It is on a Wednesday this year. So much good stuff about that day to read here:

Also, last day of the wheat harvest!

Interesting. Sounds like the perfect day for a Wedding. Thanks for that. Smile
Tu B’Av , the 15th Day of Av, is both an ancient and modern holiday. Originally a post-biblical day of joy, it served as a matchmaking day for unmarried women in the Second Temple period (before the fall of Jerusalem in 70 C.E.). Tu B’Av was almost unnoticed in the Jewish calendar for many centuries but it has been rejuvenated in recent decades, especially in the modern state of Israel. In its modern incarnation it is gradually becoming a Hebrew-Jewish Day of Love, slightly resembling Valentine’s Day in English-speaking countries.

There is no way to know exactly how early Tu B’Av began. The first mention of this date is in the Mishnah (compiled and edited in the end of the second century), where Rabban Shimon ben Gamliel is quoted saying:

There were no better (i.e. happier) days for the people of Israel than the Fifteenth of Av and Yom Kippur, since on these days the daughters of Israel/Jerusalem go out dressed in white and dance in the vineyards. What were they saying: Young man, consider whom you choose (to be your wife)? (Ta’anit, Chapter 4)

The day of love for the Jewish people!  How ironic for the bride of Christ to be taken then, while corporate Israel is left behind!

Not a major Feast day, but one cherished by Israel.  Wouldn't be just like God to prick their hearts for messiah to reveal himself as the bridegroom.  Especially embracing the Gentiles!  Highlighting the Bride!

Would no doubt speak to many hearts!

I really like the idea of the church being born at the beginning of the wheat harvest and raptured at the end of the wheat harvest.

Blue - the wheat harvest begins 3rd month in Israel (May/June 2020); the wheat harvest ends 4th month (Jun / Jul 2020) - first Figs begins.

Late summer heat - AV 5th month (Jul / Aug 2020) - Grape harvest begins.

The story of Ruth laying at the feet of Boaz is at the end of the Wheat Harvest  (wheat represents the church). Wheat is threshed — whereas Barley is winnowed first

Just food for thought B-) soon! :prayer-hands:

More food for thought

Tu B'Av / טו באב
Tu B'Av (Hebrew: ט״ו באב, the fifteenth of the month Av) is a minor Jewish holiday. In modern-day Israel, it is celebrated as a holiday of love (Hebrew: חג האהבה‎, Hag HaAhava), similar to Valentine's Day. It has been said to be a "great day for weddings".

Tu B'Av begins at sundown on Tue, 04 August 2020. :prayer-hands:

fair and educational use from the Hebcal

Could this be our bullseye day?!  Maybe!

Again, a very appropriate time to be whisked away by our Bridegroom!

Really more than excited for 2020!  The anticipation continues to grow daily!

I personally have no idea when the harvest seasons are.  Can't they overlap?  I was just restating what the article said...Pentecost to Tu B Av was the wheat harvest.  If the wheat harvest does end the 4th month, as you state, that is the same month that Steve Monette came up with for the foundation of the temple being started---or possibly he was hinting that as Jesus is our foundation then that is the time of the rapture.  I get really excited when anyone makes a good case for a rapture date and am all in! If you can narrow it down for me, I would be forever grateful!

So, Blue, I am kind of one of those (imminent) or “any minute” watcher. I have been watching since the late 70’s and have come to the conclusion, we are the terminal generation that will be raptured. We are certainly in “the season”, as Christ said, “the signs are right before our eyes” — for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear .... Christ spent a great bit of time explaining the Galilean wedding of the church. So that is significant!
God has opened up so much understanding and tidbits in this last year, it’s amazing even for those of us who have watched for a long time. His spirit and presence is so close, at times it feels like I can just reach him. My family jokes when I tell them to practice the rapture jump. :mdrmdr:
To give you a date .... I really would tell you ... seriously, be ready any day now, keep your wick trimmed (confess sin, clear the plate), keep oil in the lamp (spend time via the spirit with our Savior in prayer), watch the Eastern sky (he is coming) and listen for the still small voice (as the spirit’s leading) —- don’t fall asleep as the disciples did in the garden of Gethsemane.
High watch days can be defeating to many folks, causing even depression— that’s not healthy for you and does not honor the Lord. For others, many of us here, high watch days are like stepping stones, they are “stepping” us closer to the day of the trumpet sound — that’s the way I look at them ... look how far we have stepped since the 1970’s!
I know that’s not what you wanted but, I’ m really a mix of logic and optimism— my scientific brain sees many levels of our Father and He is so beyond our understanding, it is exciting to know that very soon (truly), we will be in His presence of righteousness, steadfast love, and peace. How amazing it that? :yahoo:

June is very promising, July is hanging in there, August gears up to a win, win ... if we make it past August (be surprised a bit), then I believe the Lord will reveal even more events that we get the privilege to watch with total excitement and expectation :popcorn :popcorn

:prayer-hands I always go to bed each night praying for a harvest and listening ear! :prayer-hands:

I agree with Tammie. I've been watching since the 70's as well and have seen many timelines come and go. I used to be dogmatic about this feast day or that but have become a believer in "any day works". The high watch dates have left me in the pit of despair too may times. But in all the decades I've been a watcher I have never had such a sense that the rapture was so very close at hand. I truly expect it every day now. If I wake up the next morning, so be it but I still assume it could be today. I, too, have an analytical mind and have always tried to solve the "puzzle", but that has gone away and now I just simply wait.
