Well, the NCAA has now announced it has completely canceled its post-season basketball tournament, one of the biggest annual sports spectacles in this country. Looks like the Lord is trying really hard to get some people's attention, striking at the heart of a major idol in our culture. For those of you who are not familiar with the college basketball scene, the annual collegiate tournament has a collective nickname of March Madness because it happens in the month of March each year and typically includes some major upsets. So, the traditional March Madness has been canceled, arguably by the hand of God. Now the question is, what type of spiritual March Madness might we be in for over the next 2-3 weeks? Remember mercy, Abba!!! I was just thinking today that maybe God is destroying America's god's like in Egypt. Money (Dow Jones), NBA, NHL, NCAA basketball, Disney World, Higher Education, and more coming ! Therefore, it is a good thing that almost all sporting activities have been cancelled. We need to keep our eyes on the Prize. There's a difference between being a fan and a fanatic. Funny that the tournament would be called March madness and it gets cancelled in the midst of March madness.
