Humor often brings clarity, even to lawlessness I wish the rioters here in Portland would take heed of that sign. While we didn't often go to down town we won't even get close to town (we're 12 miles south of Portland) with all that's going on here. Clearly what we're seeing here in Portland is nothing compared to what is about to unfold on the world stage. If people clearly understood what was about to take place they would be on their knees accepting Jesus as their savior. Who would want to live through the 7 years of tribulation when a simple step of turning your life over to Christ removes you from that fear? Maybe its because I accepted Jesus in 1965 - a long time ago - that its hard for me to reason why someone would choose to not have Jesus on their side. Its like offering people the choice of a beautiful mansion or living in a cardboard box in the middle of a war zone. Why wouldn't you choose the mansion? Do you live near Lake Oswego, Todd? The only countdown I need is " COME UP HERE " This I wait in faith, in accordance with His will and in Jesus Christ name I pray our Father which art in heaven, Amen @arthur I do live very very close to Lake O and in fact moved to where I am from Lake O. Oh cool! I took a teaching ESL to adults course in Lake Oswego. I lived there for 1 1/2 months. Lovely place. I loved Portland, as well. What a shame what these anarchists are doing.
