Speaking of chocolate, I personally go through a gallon of chocolate milk every three days!

I tell my wife that's what keeps me so sweet!  I just love the taste!

lemon coconut cake,

lemon merengue pie,

Donna,

Next to chocolate — I am all about Strawberries and then Lemon so I thought I would share — after the commercial, just the first few seconds are awesome and the pictures is mouth watering for sure….

I'm picky about chocolate!  I don't like chocolate cake or brownies, but love fudge!  Hate coconut it's like eating shredded plastic!

Spice cake is my favorite!  Love lemon desserts, I prefer caramel, and butterscotch to chocolate! And being born in Canada, I love maple!

Just goofy I guess!

I got this one chocolate cake recipe that is sooooo moist it taste like pudding inside but there is none.  The secret is the water it calls for is not cold but you heat on the stove or microwave until it boils.  The batter is then liquid as you pour into the cake trays.  3 tier cake with whip cream and strawberries, pineapple and peaches in each layer.  Then there is homemade sponge cake with the same ingredients with the whip cream and fruit.  Between those 2 cakes I waiver back and forth.

I do love lemon merengue pie, pretty much every pie … well … except for pumpkin.  I do like spice cake and carrot cake, etc.   Oh I love coconut candy … mounds and almond joy.  On my ice cream sundaes I actually prefer strawberries over the hot chocolate.  I do like caramel too especially dipped on apples with peanuts.  If I have pistachio ice cream sundae its with the whip cream and strawberries … I usually get a side order of onion rings.  I know … sounds crazy but I like the combo.   I love caramel popcorn and peanut brittle.  Fudge though I can pass up … I’m not sure why I don’t like it that much.  Brownie walnuts I do like but it hast to also include whip cream and strawberries on top. B-)

LOVE it! :good:   Its been a while since I had lemon meringue.  She makes it so simple to make. I miss all those cooking shows and chopped contests and cake boss and …

The grating of the lemon rinds reminds me of homemade Italian Ice … do anyone you make that?  That is the whole secret … the zest flavor is in the rinds and must be included with the sugar water and lemon juice.  Or if you like lime ice … the same thing .. must grate the limes.
