I will be honest, I really miss the bloom’n onions but too much grease :calvin In college I used to eat fried onion rings with an ice cream sundae. Not on top but a small side order. I know it sounds odd but its actually really very good. I also love sautéed sweet onions and then caramelizing them with some butter ... it takes away from the sharp taste of raw onions. Its hard for me to eat raw onions ... they need to be cooked or fried.
