Seems to me that if the Rapture occurs on a Jewish Feast Day or Holiday this would be a Jewish witness from the Lord. If the Rapture occurs on a Christian or Gentile holiday the witness would then be for the Gentiles. Arguing for a Gentile witness, it would directly point Israel to Christ. Given that their blindness won't be lifted for three and a half years into the Tribulation period, I really don't see a need for a Jewish witness that isn't already found in the scriptures and world history! But for a Gentile witness, this again would directly point to Christ which is what God wants anyways! Whether Ascension Day, Easter, or whatever. Even spring would speak to both Jew and Gentile! Tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Easter on the 12th of April. And Pentecost on May 31, being both Jewish and Gentile. If Israel has been blinded to all that has been given them I don't see where the date of the Rapture is going to make all that much difference?! TR Good point! :good: Because we see the Jews focus is solely on their 3rd Temple to get built. I’m leaning towards the church will disappear either on Easter, Pentecost or Ascension Day. It also seems to me that if the Lord wanted to use the timing of the Rapture to speak to hearts, that there is a greater audience amonst the Gentiles, as opposed to the Jews! TR Good question. I am not sure about that. Certainly there will be a many witnesses during the Tribulation, though. There will be angels proclaiming the coming Kingdom and to prepare for it. The Jewish people will have the two witnesses for their witness. Their own brethren, likely Moses and Elijah. The 144,000 will be Jewish, as well. Perhaps they will all be like the Apostle Paul and reach out to the Jews first and then the Gentiles. Whatever the case, tremendous numbers of people will be saved in the Tribulation. God is sooooooo good. ^^ Indeed all the more reason the Rapture doesn't need to be used as a witness for the Jews. TR
