Indeed our authority in Christ must be honored, but only as we stand in that authority! TR I would be interested if anyone can point in scripture that says whether Satan can come or go from the throne room or if he has to be summoned by God. That's an interesting thought. Thank you for the feed back. Maybe this will help. Until his final judgment, Satan is "the prince of this world" (John 14:30), but it seems that he still has restricted access to the heavenly realms. In Job 1:6, Satan stands in the presence of God. There is a similar situation in 2 Chronicles 18:18–21 involving a "lying spirit." Here are some other facts to note: 1) Satan does not have open access to God’s presence. He is summoned by God. 2) The visits are temporary. His time before God’s throne is limited. 3) In no way is the purity of heaven tainted by the brief, God-ordained presence of a sinful being, "quarantined," as it were, by God’s regulatory power. And, 4) Satan’s access is only granted prior to the final judgment. Please feel free to correct any mistakes I have made. I also would like to add, that satan is the prince of the air and I have been thinking about this subject since it was first posted! satan operates out of the second heaven, which is discribed in the Old Testament when Elijah asked the the Lord to open up the spiritual realm and his servant saw the fighting that is going on! Plus, we are are living under the last dispensation, under Grace and Mercy! Jesus defeated satan on the Cross and Jesus told us in Mark 16 to cast our demons and that is what He did most of His Ministry! Paul did the same in the Book of Acts, Chapter 16. in the Old Testament that was unheard of and only magic or witchcraft operated in that realm. I realize that this is a controversial subject, but we have been given authority by Jesus over devils and demons and the works of the enemy! So, the enemy is subject to us through Jesus! I watched many great testimonies about this! A lot of people have been set free and Jesus is the same today as He was 2000 years ago! Accepting what the Lord will allow and knowing when we are called to do warfare! Always being led of the Spirit! TR
Praise Jesus for our victory of this present darkness! Maranatha!
