Not necessarily ... whoever confirms the peace treaty is the AC.   I look at it this way ... we need something on the table for the AC to later confirm.

Well ... we didn’t have much choice when voting ...  Trump or Hillary.  Still glad Trump won.  He at least is speeding up Bible prophecy!  B-)

Wow ... here is some insightful info on the upcoming Israeli elections.  Looks like even if Bibi wins the popular vote ... Gantz will be able to put together a coalition and it wont be good.  Here is the scoop ...

Per Athenasius on another forum board - in layman’s terms ... her opinion on how it all could unfold prophetically ... :popcorn

“I'm seeing something else happening in Israel that I think is rather ominous for them and it's to do with the current elections. On the eve of a war!

There is an article on Gantz and the Blue and White party finally managing to possibly beat Netanyahu. (See below)

It's a bit alarming. Gantz has figured out a way to put together a coalition after the election. If he can hold onto the seats he has, and other factions hold as well, -- he could finally beat Netanyahu in spite of Bibi winning the elections like he did last time. Because in Israel it isn't who wins the popular vote, it's who can cobble together a workable coalition of otherwise warring factions. By giving something to everybody to sweeten the deal. It's why Netanyahu is unable to demand the religious yeshiva students do their army service like every other young Israeli. Their faction has a deal with Netanyahu to allow them to opt out.

Different factions get together in a coalition.

Gantz has had his eye on the job for a while, and saw a chance last election. Because Netanyahu was unable to form a coalition --we are in Israeli election season once again.

But this time is different

What is really  raising my eyebrows is the man called Odeh! He is an Arab Palestinian Muslim leader of a party called the Joint List.

His Joint List is made up of other Arab Muslims  who are citizens of Israel, and Members of the Knesset. They have usually not done much other than squabble and disagree with everyone else.

But this time they are working together, to cooperate with Gantz. To give him the needed coalition! The Arab MKs have never done that ever ever ever! And they are predicted by polls (thankfully polls are often wrong nowadays) to gain 10-12 seats. Which Odeh would throw their numbers into Gantz's coalition.

Gantz is a socialist from what I can gather and I suspect a globalist as well.

But an even bigger point to focus on is that his cell phone has been hacked into not once but twice!

First by Iran and then Russia.

Yup. It's been in the recent news headlines over there. And it looks like it's factual. Russia is denying it, and casting doubt thru their news channels so that one is becoming obscured by Russian efforts. But it fits their pattern.

Russia and Iran.

Let that sink in a moment and pause to reflect that he had possible sensitive personal data in there that could be use to blackmail him in future. And a few things the government would prefer not to fall into enemy hands sure, because Hilary isn't the only bimbo in the world who puts sensitive stuff on her personal phone, but lets just look closely a moment at the possibility of this man now being blackmailed by Russia or Iran or both.

And then consider what he would then "owe" to the Palestinian Arab Muslim Members of the Knesset from Odeh's Joint List party!!!

Not a pretty picture at all.

Here's a future leader of Israel on the eve of war with Iran essentially thru all it's proxies, who owes the Palestinian MKs, and who is sworn to protect Israel's vital financial windfall of the oil fields that Russia wants and he could be elected the leader of Israel. Then he could be manipulated to perfection by Russia or Iran or both in tandem.

Doesn't that just make your hair stand on end?

Noooooooooooo I am screeching Nooooooooooo  this is a train wreck.  Wake up and smell the coffee Israel! This guy has been compromised 3 times over that I can see. What else is going to show up about him?

But if this man gets in it strikes me that it will definitely grease the skids towards the eventual Ez 38 war and then some.

Blue and White sources: Gantz will have blocking majority against PM Gantz’s associates said he would welcome Liberman being part of a blocking majority but would not comment on the possibility of Odeh being part of it.

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz will have enough support in the September 17 election to obtain a “blocking majority” needed to prevent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from forming the next government, high ranking sources in Blue and White said this week. The sources revealed that Gantz’s goal is to obtain a 61 MK blocking majority of parties that do not want Netanyahu to build the next coalition. The sources said that for a blocking majority, unlike a coalition, Gantz believes even sworn enemies like Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman and Joint List head Ayman Odeh could cooperate, because they both detest Netanyahu.

Gantz’s associates said he would welcome Liberman being part of a blocking majority, but would not comment on the possibility of Odeh being part of it. However, Odeh himself in interviews last weekend called for a blocking majority that his party would join. Recent polls have predicted 29 to 31 seats for Blue and White, 10 to 12 for the Joint List, nine to 10 for Yisrael Beytenu, seven to eight for the Democratic Union, and four to six for Labor-Gesher, which would make a blocking majority possible.

Obtaining a blocking majority against Netanyahu could require President Reuven Rivlin to give Gantz the mandate to form a government. When it comes to forming a coalition, Gantz knows Liberman and Odeh are unlikely to cooperate, but sources in Blue and White said once he has the mandate, other party leaders will soften their demands. One possibility for Gantz is that Shas or United Torah Judaism (UTJ) could enter his coalition, even if it also contains critics of haredim (ultra-Orthodox) like Liberman and Blue and White’s No. 2, Yair Lapid.

Liberman has denied any possibility of cooperating with Odeh. But being part of a blocking majority would not require them to do anything other than making the same recommendation to Rivlin that Gantz form the government. When asked to respond to this possibility, Yisrael Beytenu officials said that it is Likud that has been cooperating lately with Arab parties, and there will be no blocking majority with Odeh. The officials could not confirm reports that Liberman told activists this week that they “must prevent Netanyahu from being prime minister.” Liberman told Army Radio on Thursday that while he knows he cannot get everything he wants in coalition talks, his demands will include passing the haredi conscription bill, initiating civil marriage, stores opening and public transportation being available on Shabbat, and learning the core curriculum in haredi schools.

All of those demands would not be accepted by Shas or UTJ. If Yisrael Beytenu cannot coexist in a coalition with either party, the only way Gantz would be able to form a coalition is with Likud. Gantz has ruled out a coalition with Netanyahu, but has welcomed a coalition with a post-Netanyahu Likud. In an interview with Army Radio’s Effi Triger on Thursday morning, Gantz called on Netanyahu to advance his October 2 legal hearing to before Election Day, so the voters will have all the information needed to cast their ballots. He said that could be in the interest of both Netanyahu and the public.

Fascinating thread.

The Hebrew word often translated "confirm" in Daniel 9:27 is "gabar" and can be translated as strengthen, make strong, make greater, confirm.  It seems to me that all of those definitions imply that there must be some type of covenant that already exists, which the Antichrist will then come along and strengthen.

Here is my semi-educated theory.  Certainly no "thus sayeth the Lord."  However the Israeli elections turn out, there will be some version of the Trump peace plan that is ratified.  I am guessing that the 3rd Temple will not be part of the agreement, at least initially.  Then, however, someone will come along to "gabar" the existing covenant and I would hypothesize that the key element of that "gabaring" will be the ability to build the 3rd Temple.  Whoever is ultimately responsible for giving the Jewish people the green light to build that Temple will be elevated to the position of Messiah.

Not sure where the timing of the rapture precisely fits, other than before the Antichrist is revealed through the signing of the 7-year covenant.

More signs of the times ... the push for the 3rd temple continues ... :popcorn

From ProphecyNewsWatch.com

After it was announced on Thursday that the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party was polling at four mandates, another poll, this time from the Israeli Daily Yisrael Hayom, also showed the party getting four seats for the first time since elections were called in May on Friday.

In an exclusive interview with Breaking Israel News, party head Itamar Ben-Gvir came out in favor of building the Third Temple.

Four mandates are required for any political party to even enter the Knesset (parliament). This means that the fact that they are polling at four seats for the first time is especially significant. Interestingly, the same day that they came out in favor of building the third Temple (Thursday) was the same day that the original poll in the Knesset channel showed them getting four seats.

Another reason why the poll results are vital is that as a right-wing party, those four seats will likely secure Netanyahu a coalition following elections.

According to the poll which was done in coordination with i24 News, the ‘right-wing’ block nears 60 mandates without Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beitenu (Israel is Home) party. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s main challenger, Benny Gantz‘s Blue and White party is losing ground while Netanyahu’s Likud party is gaining steam.

The daily theorizes that the change in the poll results is affected by the tension in Israel’s north with Hezbollah. Although the actual clash only lasted for one day, it could still have an impact on the sentiment.

Another reason for Otzma Yahudit’s rise could have something to do with Moshe Feiglin’s Zehut (Identity) party dropping out of the race. Feiglin, who openly calls for building the third Temple, was promised a position as a high ranking official in Netanyahu’s government.

The survey took a sample of 603 Israeli adults in Israel with a margin of error of 4%. Now that Otzma Yehudit is expected to enter the Knesset, the forecast shows the center/right-wing block headed by Netanyahu gaining 58 seats. The Center/left-wing block headed by Benny Gantz getting 51 seat while Yisrael Beitenu is polling at 11 seats.

Exciting times we live in, as we see history unfold to accomplish the Lord's will!

Again the main issue is not if the Rapture happens, but when?!  Again I can only reconcile my anticipation with the knowledge that time is on our side!

There are indeed so many reasons for not wanting to be here, but there are even more reasons for wanting to be with Christ!

I agree ... exciting times.  Looks like all the political parties running for office are in favor of the 3rd Temple to get built ... so does it matter who wins?   However, now that we know Moshe Feiglin is promised a high ranking position in Bibi government  ...  I can’t help but think of what Moshe Feiglin said back on April 3rd “I don't want to build a (Third) Temple in one or two years, I want to build it now.”  So I reckon we should pray that Bibi wins that way they can build it this year!  And the church surely must be gone before this happens, right? :yahoo:

A bit of clarification, the “peace plan” has a new name. It is now known as Kushner’s Peace Plan. I find that very interesting, what say you?

I've been calling it the Trump/Kushner plan for a while now because I know Kushner is the one doing all the work. Maybe Trump just confirms it : )

Kushner is the Jew!

My thoughts on the elections in Israel is this.  If Bibi gets re-elected we are probably here for a while longer.  If he doesn't get elected and no majority is achieved, Israel would be prime for an attack.  And increased movement towards the temple being rebuilt will continue.  As it is now, Israel is already geared up for war.  Whether they declare a formal war or whether it is thrust upon them, prophecy fulfillment will continue forward.  And if Bibi does lose, the peace plan may again be postponed!
