Would life be all that much easier if men simply followed after God and His still small voice?! TR :agree the Lord wanted to be Israel’s King in the Old Testament and yet the Israelites rejected the notion and wanted to be like other nations with a human king to rule over them, so the Lord gave them their wish. They got stuck with King Saul and all the problems down thru the centuries. But soon very soon the Lord will be ruling and reigning during the millennium and no need for them to vote ever again for a political leader! I am more interesting to see how the next election will revolve into the three shepherds war. Here's a scenario. If the next election results in another deadlock, will the enemy capitalize this situation by attacking Israel from round about? If my timeline is correct, the three shepherds war shall happen in late spring, early summer., 2 to 3 months after the election. Looks like this election will lead to some turmoil in Israel. Indeed any nation is most vulnerable when there is internal political dissension! A house divided shall not stand. Speculation abounds whether it involves the politics of men or the timing of the Rapture! Seems to me that I try to glean between mere speculation and the wisdom of God rightly dividing the Word. They are times when they are mutually exclusive! But many lack the wisdom to discern. TR 2ndcoming, I have been watching for that too. With this election cycle going on for a third election, Israel is very vulnerable right now. I am actually surprised that her enemies have not already attacked because of Israel's instability in the government. Very interested to see the next 6 months.
