U.S. officials reportedly warned Tuesday that Iran is about to fire ballistic missiles at Israel, as Israeli forces battled Iran’s terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, in Lebanon. Israel reacted to the warning by saying that it had not detected any incoming missiles from Iran yet, but that it was ready. Meanwhile, the State Department told employees of the U.S. embassy to shelter in place. In April, Iran fired some 300 missiles, projectiles, and drones directly at Israel. Almost all of them were intercepted by Israel’s air defenses, and those of other US allies in the region. The Biden administration urged Israel not to mount a significant response. Israel did retaliate, but did so in limited way, targeting Iran’s air defenses, and demonstrating that Israel could penetrate them easily. Iran is suddenly vulnerable to Israeli attack. The Iranian regime had used Hezbollah as a deterrent force against any attack on its nuclear program, but Hezbollah’s capabilities have been severely degraded over the past two weeks. Iran had also vowed to avenge the killing of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July, but apparently had not managed yet to mount a significant response. Israel officially announced Tuesday that it had begun ground operations in Lebanon, and revealed that it had been sending commando units into Lebanon for months. Combined U.S. military forces are being rushed to the Middle East to deter an Iranian response in the wake of Israel’s enhanced air campaign against Hezbollah and the start of a ground operation in southern Lebanon to remove terrorist outposts that threaten Israeli communities, U.S. and Israeli officials said Monday. The infusion of fighting assets, which includes air-defense units, will add to the tens of thousands of American personnel already on high alert there, said Sabrina Singh, a Pentagon spokeswoman. The push follows other moves to enhance and reposition U.S. forces already in the troubled region, as Breitbart News reported. Singh linked the additional deployments directly to rhetoric from senior Iranian officials, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has called for all Muslims to stand with Hezbollah as it confronts Israel. Writing on social media over the weekend, he declared that “the blows struck by the Resistance Front on the worn-out, deteriorating body of the Zionist regime will become even more crushing.” The “resistance front” is a reference to the network of militant proxy forces that Iran backs across the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, and several militia forces in Iraq and Syria. The decision brings the total number of American troops in the region to as many as 43,000, including more than a dozen warships. The beefed-up presence is designed both to help defend Israel and protect U.S. and allied personnel and assets. It comes after U.S. Navy warships shot down a barrage of Houthi terrorist cruise missiles and drones launched Friday from Yemen at the shipping lanes of the Red Sea. The Pentagon confirmed the attack and the successful response on Friday. Iran launched missiles at Israel on Tuesday evening local time, as Israelis throughout the entire country were ordered to take cover in bomb shelters until further notice. The IDF said in a statement: A short while ago, missiles were launched from Iran towards the State of Israel. You are instructed to remain alert and precisely follow the Home Front Command’s instructions In the last few minutes, the Home Front Command has distributed life-saving instructions in various areas across the country. The public is asked to adhere to the Home Front Command’s guidelines. Upon hearing a siren, you must enter a protected space and remain there until further notice. The IDF is doing and will do everything necessary to protect the civilians of the State of Israel. IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari addressed the nation, telling them that the Home Front Command would communicate to them via mobile phone alerts. “We are strong, and we are capable in this attack also,” he said. Iran claimed to have aimed at military targets. Unconfirmed reports on social media suggested that 400 missiles had been launched and that two had possibly hit Israel, while the rest appeared to have been intercepted. Update: IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari told Israelis at roughly 8:30 p.m. local time that the Iranian attack had ended, and that there had been no injuries or deaths. He urged the public to exercise caution. He said Israel would respond to Iran “in the place and the time we determine. … We have plans.” Two terrorists opened fire Tuesday evening on civilians along Jerusalem Boulevard in the city of Jaffa, south of Tel Aviv in an apparent terror attack, severely wounding at least seven people. Israel’s Army Radio reported that two gunmen had opened fire with M-16 rifles, aiming at commuters on a light rail station platform. Residents were asked to shelter in place. The Times of Israel quoted police as reporting that both of the terrorists had since been “neutralized.” The German government, in recent years, has positioned itself as one of Israel’s strongest supporters in Europe. The German Federal Ministry announced that individuals who call for Israel’s destruction by using expressions, such as “From the river to the sea” will be denied German citizenship, according to the German Ministry of Interior and German news channel NDR. The phrase is commonly used by anti-Israel activists to suggest that the state of “Palestine” should replace the State of Israel on the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. The German Federal Ministry has noted that "statements such as 'From the river to the sea' coincide with an explicit call for violent actions against the State of Israel." The new German citizenship law, which was passed in late June, stipulates that "racism, antisemitism or any other form of misanthropy rule out naturalization." The new law’s clause 10.1.1.1.3.1 specifically addresses Germany’s responsibility towards the Jewish state following the Holocaust, during which six million Jews were killed by the Nazi regime, citing "Germany’s special historical responsibility for the National Socialist injustice and its consequences, especially for the protection of Jewish life." Germany has in recent years absorbed a large number of migrants from the Middle East and other Muslim-majority countries, where antisemitism has become a widespread phenomenon. Unlike some other European countries, Germany offers citizenship to individuals who are employed in Germany after five years. However, the new upgraded citizenship law will prohibit citizenship to individuals who harbor antisemitism or other types of racism. One purpose of the new law is to protect the roughly 100,000 Jewish residents who reside in Germany. The new law also aims to counter calls for the destruction of the Jewish state or claims that Israel and Jews fabricated or exaggerated the Holocaust. In Germany, Holocaust denial is considered a serious crime. In addition to banning the slogan "From the river to the sea," the new German law prohibits expressions such as "Palestine will be free,"... "Death to Israel,"... Furthermore, maps that exclude Israel are also considered violations under the new legislation. Amir Tsarfati, Oct 1: Amir's BREAKING NEWS: [before Iran's strike] [About 9 minutes] Israel has declared United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres persona non grata and barred him from entering the country, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz announced on Wednesday via X/Twitter. The decision came in response to what Katz described as Guterres’s failure to unequivocally condemn Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel. “Anyone who cannot unequivocally condemn Iran’s heinous attack on Israel, as almost every country in the world has done, does not deserve to step foot on Israeli soil,” Katz wrote. He further criticized Guterres for not denouncing Hamas’s use of sexual violence or condemning the group’s October 7 massacre, which is nearing its first anniversary. Katz’s statement also accused Guterres of offering tacit support to terrorist organizations, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran-backed militias like the Houthis. “A Secretary-General who gives backing to terrorists, rapists, and murderers…will be remembered as a stain on the history of the UN,” Katz stated. https://israfan.com/p/israel-bars-un-secretary-general-guterres Amir Tsarfati, Oct 2: And all of that is not even the biggest miracle. Here is what he wrote me. Where did those missiles go? I’ll tell you where. They landed in sand, in water, and in “Empty spaces." Have you been to Israel? It’s a microscopic country. What empty spaces? Where are these empty spaces? 🤷♂️ How have hundreds of Iranian ballistic missiles all either get detonated by miraculous systems or totally miss their mark and land in empty spaces causing zero casualties and minimal damage?! But if you know anything about what had to happen last night and throughout this war in general, for such a low number of casualties, you’ll know that what we witnessed last night was the equivalent of God splitting the sea right before our eyes.U.S.: Iran About to Fire Missiles at Israel; Israel Says None Detected, but Ready:

If one thing went wrong, if one of those ballistic missiles hit an apartment building, a shopping center, or an army base, we would now be burying hundreds of Israelis.
A few hours ago, I got a WhatsApp message from a good friend who is a senior executive at Microsoft and who wasn’t exactly a God fearing Jew. Until yesterday.
“If you’re looking for miracles man - last night I started believing. Missiles hit all around me but none of them hit my house or any house, for that matter.”
All valid questions that require a very serious nuanced conversation.
Guess what. When God split the sea, there were those who didn’t believe it was a miracle and didn’t jump in. And there are also those who feel the need to explain it naturally. Ok, that’s fine.
Last night, we witnessed history.
Last night we witnessed open miracles.
Last night, we witnessed God in all His glory watching over His children.

The chances of all of these incredibly complex systems working in unison as flawlessly as they did last night, are basically non existent.
Each one of those defense systems is, in and of itself, pretty miraculous, but what is even more insane is the low casualty numbers from the rockets and missiles that we’re NOT intercepted.
Listen, I get it. This thought process begs the question, where was God during the horrible terrorist attack yesterday? Where was He on October 7th? Where was He during the holocaust?
Last night will be analyzed by military strategists and experts for generations.
