The IDF spokesman confirms that it is a surface-to-surface missile that was launched towards Israel from the east. The multiple alarms are due to fragments of the interceptor missile.

The ballistic missile that was launched from Yemen and exploded in an open area near Modi'in: The Air Force is investigating this morning: how the missile was not intercepted. The Arrow system has so far, since the beginning of the war, carried out dozens of successful interceptions. Close to 100% successful interception of an arrow - both in the Iranian attack on 4/14, and in several incidents of ballistic missile launches by the Houthis from Yemen.

Judging by the location of the fall - my personal assessment is that the ballistic missile was fired towards Israel’s Ben Gurion international airport. That makes sense if the idea is to avenge the attack on the sea port of Hodeidah in July.

Netanyahu to address UN General Assembly:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to travel to the United States later this month to deliver an address to the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 27, his office announced on Sunday.

The Israeli premier is slated to leave for New York on Sept. 24 for meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the event, according to the statement.

Netanyahu is to address the 79th Session of the U.N. General Assembly three days later, on Friday afternoon, and fly back that Sunday.

Israel is girding for a high-stakes diplomatic confrontation at the United Nations, as the Palestinian Authority pushes for sweeping measures against the Jewish state, including calls for an arms embargo and sanctions.

Jerusalem has reportedly crafted a series of escalating countermeasures, from freezing funds to cutting security ties with Ramallah, should the General Assembly vote to adopt the proposed anti-Israel resolutions.

As high-level diplomatic consultations unfold, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has directed his team to draw up measures against the P.A. If it follows through on its threats and violates the Oslo Accords, Jerusalem won’t hesitate to “go all the way,” diplomatic sources have warned.

According to a report by Israel’s Channel 12 News on Sept. 8, Ramallah has circulated a draft resolution asking the General Assembly to urge Jerusalem to withdraw from Judea and Samaria and remove some 500,000 Israeli citizens living in the territory within six months.

IDF Seeks Buffer Zone Inside Lebanon:

1. Northern Command Chief Gordin has called on the Israeli government to authorize a takeover of Lebanese territory to create a buffer zone against Hezbollah.

2. Gordin noted that conditions are favorable, as Hezbollah has withdrawn many of its Radwan forces from the border area, allowing for a swift operation.

3. With only 20% of local residents remaining in southern Lebanese villages due to the ongoing conflict, the IDF would face less resistance in conducting military maneuvers.

4. This move is seen as the potential start of a larger conflict, with the buffer zone possibly pushing Hezbollah toward a ceasefire deal that would enhance the security of northern Israel.

God says, “I am the Lord and remember My name. I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”

So when somebody says to you, “Oh, we, the Muslims, we believe in the same God as you. We believe in the God of Abraham.” Well, ask him if he believes in the God of Isaac and Jacob also, because that’s the full name of our God. And if they stop at Abraham, that’s not the same God, folks.

...a “new and improved” word from God has now come. This is what the Mormons and Muslims have done. They will use familiar sounding terminology but they have an altogether different dictionary. The Mormons use the name Jesus, but their Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer and both are the offspring of a former human from a different planet who became a god. Same vocabulary, different dictionary. The Muslims have a personage they call Isa whom they say is the Jesus of the Bible. They claim he was born of a virgin and performed miracles, but he did not die on the cross for the sins of the world. Which means the Islamic Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible.

This is why genealogies in the Bible are so important. Luke 3 records the genealogy of Jesus all the way back to Adam through David, Jesse, Boaz, and on to Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham, and then finally all the way back to Adam.

The Lord said that His everlasting covenant was not with Ishmael but with Isaac and his descendants. How do we know this is still true? The descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob are back in their national homeland just as the Bible foretold. And that means Israel is about to bear the fruit of coming to know their Messiah at the end of the Tribulation, and the Rapture is about to bring an end to the church age. 

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.

Israel Targets Hezbollah HQ in Massive Strike; Nasrallah Fate Unknown:

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Friday that it had targeted the underground headquarters of Hezbollah in Beirut.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah may be among the dead; his fate has yet to be confirmed.

Massive explosions were seen and heard in the Dahiyeh neighborhood, shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu finished his address at the United Nations.  Netanyahu was reportedly speaking with reporters until a military aide whispered in his ear, and he left the briefing suddenly without explanation.

IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari delivered a message in English: 

...  On October 8th, Hezbollah started attacking Israel.

After almost a year of Hezbollah firing rockets, missiles, and suicide drones at Israeli civilians, after almost a year of Israel warning the world and telling them that Hezbollah must be stopped, Israel is doing what every sovereign state in the world would do if they had a terror organization that seeks their destruction on their border, taking the necessary action to protect our people so that Israeli families can live in their homes, safely and securely.

At the United Nations General Assembly, Netanyahu had just warned Iran, Hezbollah’s patron: “If you strike us, we will strike you. There is no place in Iran that the long arm of Israel cannot reach. And that is true of the entire Middle East.”

Confirmed: Mass Murderer Nasrallah Dead; Media Mourn, Biden Wants Ceasefire:

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared Saturday, and Hezbollah confirmed, that terrorist mass murderer Hassan Nasrallah had been killed in an airstrike Friday evening in his headquarters deep under civilian buildings in Beirut.

As Breitbart News reported, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the airstrike from his hotel room in New York City, then addressed the United Nations General Assembly while the mission was being carried out.

Nasrallah, 64, rose to lead the Iranian-backed terror group as it carried out an insurgency against Israeli forces that had occupied southern Lebanon to prevent terrorists from firing rockets at communities in northern Israel. When Israel withdrew in 2000, he became a hero in the Arab and Muslim worlds. His stature increased after 2006, when Hezbollah started the Second Lebanon War and fought Israel to a draw after the international community intervened.

But Nasrallah soon became a hated figure as well, after Hezbollah joined the Syrian civil war that erupted in the Arab Spring of 2011. Hezbollah participated in atrocities against Sunni Muslims and others, as Iran propped up dictator Bashar al-Assad. Many Lebanese people, outside of Hezbollah’s narrow Shiite constituency, resented Hezbollah’s role in Lebanon, which allowed Iran to control the country and to turn it into a base for future attacks against Israel.

In its obituary for Nasrallah, the AP also completely omitted Hezbollah’s role in terror against the U.S., notably its role in the bombing of the U.S. Marines barracks in Beirut in 1983, which killed 241 servicemen. It was also involved in terror and criminal enterprises worldwide, with tentacles reaching as far as Latin America and Africa, where its operatives raised and laundered money through the “blood diamonds” wars of the 1990s that horrified the world.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said Saturday that Nasrallah had hidden under women and children, and declared that Israel would continue its fight against Hezbollah until it could no longer threaten northern Israel.

The Biden administration was reportedly angry about the attack. As Breitbart News noted, Israel only informed the U.S. about the attack on Nasrallah while it was already in progress, probably because Israel did not trust the Biden administration to keep its plans secret. The Biden administration was already angry at Israel’s apparent rejection of a proposed 21-day ceasefire in Lebanon....

There are several questions now: whether Israel will launch a ground invasion to destroy the rest of a shattered Hezbollah; whether Iran will intervene in Lebanon to save its terrorist proxy; and whether the people of Lebanon, plagued for so many decades by war, will be able to enjoy peace and sovereignty.

One thing is certain: one of the worst terrorists and mass murderers in the world is dead, thanks to a war he launched, unprovoked, against civilians.
