Thanks. And thanks for the five minute warning. Amir Tsarfati update: [starts at about the 5-minute mark] The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Sunday that it had withdrawn its forces from southern Gaza, following a demand from U.S. President Joe Biden last week for an “immediate ceasefire.” Hamas declared victory on the news. The decision, coming on the day Israelis marked six months since the October 7 attack, came as a surprise, and as Israeli negotiators flew to Cairo for hostage negotiations. Hamas has demanded a ceasefire before any new deal. The IDF will leave one brigade in Gaza, whose role will be to allow Israeli troops access to return as necessary. It will also carry out targeted operations, such as the successful raid at Shifa Hospital last month. Biden appeared to be responding to electoral considerations, after Muslim- and Arab-American voters in the key swing state of Michigan threatened not to support him, and young “progressive” voters sided with the Palestinians. A sad day for the world. Amir Tsarfati: Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir: Hamas this evening also rejects the new US proposals, even though they include more Israeli concessions. 🟧 There is no permanent ceasefire, and there is no immunity for his people in Gaza (he wants a victory parade for Sinwar); 🟧 There is no Israeli withdrawal from the entire strip; 🟧 And the return of the refugees that Israel is ready for to northern Gaza is to shelter camps and not to their homes. 🟧 Also, the return is filtered by Israel, which should not even be there. 🟧 As far as Hamas is concerned, there is nothing to talk about, when this is the case. ~ Richard Littlejohn, in Daily Mail.
After U.S. Pressure, IDF Leaves Southern Gaza; Hamas Declares Victory:
If the Prime Minister decides to end the war without an extensive attack on Rafah in order to defeat Hamas, he will not have a mandate to continue serving as Prime Minister.

Hamas claims that in the new proposal:
.....
"When British or U.S. troops accidentally kill innocent civilians, journalists or aid workers it's 'friendly fire' in the heat of battle. When Israel does likewise, it's a deliberate war crime. The double-standards are nauseating."
